Hi guys, I am using a samsung hero (SCH-S109) phone with my tata indicom connection.. its a sim enabled phone.. now, is there any way i can use this phone with my reliance sim? i am able to use the t-sim in my 6265 (reliance). but when i insert r-sim in my samsung phone, it says "min out of range"... how can i make it work with reliance?? by unlocking or something... i m sure some technical guys here can help me out.. waiting.... thanks

i had got a similar problem when i purchased the phone from him.. i got a replacement the very next day.. don't worry, he will definitely help u solve it...

hetal please confirm has reliance disabled the non proxy surfing for all wap enabled phones? does it mean we cant use any 3rd party software thru the r world account from now on? yahoo go works, google maps works, windows live gone, active sync with the mail2 web works, opera mobile works but all java applications gone, skype gone, all instant messengers gone.. please tell us if there is any way to enable the 80 or other ports on the proxy server.... i think this can be done because many appications do work so im sure few ports are open , we just have to find those and add the proxy settings . i think probably we cannot send outgoing mail from the phone probably , though i havnt tried it.. reliance ne ppc ki tangen kaat di.. kuch to upay dundo...!!!!!! i m also facing similar kind of problem.. since last 4 days i m not able to use rworld.. i m on chat n play plan which makes my internet surfing free.. i was able to surf it and used to enjoy the speed i got on my pc by sharing... but now its not working... how can it be solved?

ya i reflashed it succesfully with 3.5.4.a (with blank display) also did the screen alignment with blank display.. earlier also my phone was equipped with this version of AKU.. no programs installed at all.. just opera browser (3 months trial version). it happened to me first time when phone was connected to pc and was using to surf.. suddenly it went blank... i soft reset it, and it worked fine.. then after 2-3 hours it went off again, at that time phone was not in use at all.. and since then it is happening...

ya, i tried hard reset.. but not solved.. and flash karu to kaise bootloader mode me jaata hai, woh bhi dikhta nahi... but then too i flashed once again, just by my own logic.. it was done and the main headache i had was aligning screen... done it with great great applaud from my friend.. but no use na, because the main purpose was not solved... anyways, hope guys here make it work again!!

I have sent handset to my repair guy, he is saying there some problem with device, hope he solves it soon, he was saying same problem is common in SEw550, but they solve it by reflashing it. here i cant find any solution as such. working on it. hope for the best. ya hope its done soon... and sadik, please tell me when can i give u the handset.. u didn't give me a call.. anyways waiting, do let me know.. the main problem is that i m not using this phone.. its in dad's hands... thats y i m a bit worried... he doesn't like untidy things.. mere paas rehta to kuch bhi karke sambhal leta.. so hope u make it soon... thanks well in advance!!

Hi, I've faced the same issue (especially when the phone gets overheated). It had happened quite a few times with my phone as well ... Turn off the phone (Remove the battery) - go to an A/C room / Car (A/C) and after a few mins of cooling down ... try to reinsert the battery and turn the phone back on... It worked quite a few times with me. Guess it meets your requirements mate .. cheers ashok na.. doesn't work.. what happens is whenever i switch on the phone, it displays for 2-3 secs and then everything goes blank.. then everytime i press the power button to come out of sleep mode, i see the NOW/TODAY screen for 2-3 secs and it goes blank again.. i can receive calls during all this.. i'll attach a short video here.. see if u guys can sort out from this... hi.. since yesterday i m facing this problem.. screen doesn't show anything.. although the phone seems to load perfectly, it doesn't show anything on screen.. tried soft reset, hard reset, but no use... can anyone help me getting the display back?? waiting.. please help!!

hey hetal, i bought this handset from sadik and now using it with my postpaid connection. (old chat n play plan). what i want to ask u is - when i click internet explorer, it automatically connects thru 'rel mobile world' after dialing #777. is this connecting thru 'r world' or 'r connect'. i m under old chat n play plan, in which i m not charged for network usage(10p/10kb thing). so is internet free for me? if its connecting thru rworld, then internet is free for me.. i just want to know one thing that is the default connection rworld? please reply to this.. thanks!
