The phone is available for as low as 1900 bucks. its a Very light phone. Smaller in size than the SLIM or 2230. Looks good. But the display is a bit creepy. This phone wil surely give SLIM a run for its money, though!

Nice Find! Though in 6130 there is a feature called FIND NUMBER. Quite useful, when u cant recollect what name u put for someone's number. And u rem only partial no! Thnx!

there r quite a few models that are operator free. 6585,2112 etc are such phones. The dealer will activate the provider u want(after submitting the requisite documents!)

any idea whether R-World has been incorporated in Nokia6225 by now? I've heard that for using R-World on Nokia Phones, u need to Press "0" for like 3 secs! Is that true? Is it possible to send MMS with the clicked pictures from this phone? Is the data cable connectivity of this phone good enuf? Possible to transfer pics to PC? I've read abt IR on this thread. But for that do we need a device attached to the PC for transferring via IR? The inherent prob wid 6130 is tht u can assign only 25 pics from the gallery to Caller IDs. hence every next pic has to be immediately transfered to the PC. Whats the case wid 6225? does excessive use of FM thru the day drain the battery faster? Dealers in Mumbai are giving away this phone in 8k only! Is the DataCable and IR device with the box in 6225? Can some1 help me decide on this soon?

LG 6000 is in very high demand. The price of this phone is nothing less than 9200-9500 with the dealers.

wud the pages be updated when u open them the next time? I face a problem wid my ISP coz he caches the pages on his server. And most times i see older versions of those pages for atleast 2-3 days!

Yeah there is nothing direct called Group MMS similar to Group SMS in the new Version. But like the earlier SMS, we can send a MMS to 10 different nos/email ids at one go! I am sure u r aware of it The best i like abt these phones is that u can select the Last Number msgd and keep sending it again n again. The same is the case for Last Email Ids sent to. Good Feature!

I've never used my Yahoo Account for Email !! Jus dont like the Id there. The one i want is not available and its not even used by anybody!! Dunno, y they dont release unused Ids as quickly as Hotmail does!

Not really discovered that. Only way is to put ur phone on SILENT before switching off ! works then only!Which is the Version on ur phone dude? I am told that version 18 has come up. Any idea? Ver 15 enables Group SMS. Check it in ur Messages Menu. I've been told at the WW that Ver 18 has come for R-World. Haven't got the time to go to the ASC. b4 going all tht way there, i'll call them up for a confirmation. LowerParel ASC is the best in delivering up-to-date stuff!

somehow get ur snap on the computer. Make sure it is below 100kilobytes. And then goto this MMS Site of RIM http://bill.relianceinfo.com/webapp/portal/servlet/MMSLogin And compose an MMS for ur own phone, attach the ringtone or wallpaper and send it to ur own number! U r done then! Jus to let u know, this service is "probably" charged at Rs. 3/ MMS . We have got no confirmation on this yet.

There is no card available as such! Its an E-Recharge or Mobile2Mobile Recharge (whatever u may call). Go to the Webworld, ask for a 55 bucks regular top-up of 0 days Validity and thats wat i'm talking abt!

i'ven't yet tried with any data cable. And this issue has been prevalent with most members using 6130!

the VSNL issue is for international Bandwidth. Which will effect the ILD calls. The other one is Domestic Bandwidth which shud have affected the Local Internet ISP charges!

infact this same technology can be used by MTNL n BSNL for reading out SMS sent by GSM operators to the landline users how abt that!

with the negative balance i've generally seen that after any kinda recharge on such a dreaded phone, keeps the talktime and allows to msg etc for 1 working day(minimum). infact, if its anyways a dreaded phone, y even use a top-up card? My suggestion, jus simply use a Simple TopUp Card of Rs. 55/-(Not the sms top-up Card - I hope u understand wht it means). That will give u Rs. 25/- balance for a day! Then use as much as u want, coz the balance isn't reduced real-time!

ditto !! My hotmail account though of 250 MB has never gone beyond 2MB But i know of a frnd, he has never deleted mails ! And he is enjoyin his yahoo account space! Now wid search features installed, its not so difficult to browse thru older mails!
