and i really agree with lostjournal on what he's got to say abt the movie. I dont get to write so much more often here, and i miss it... but there's lots to say abt. Ani, there was a movie which came last year and went away without being noticed... It was called "Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose". Absolutely patriotic. But most of us never went for it. RDB goes ahead to appeal to the youth, to what they percieve of things. The youth population in this country is by far large and hence this movie targets them and tries to awaken them to things around them. And as lostjournal explains, its perfectly what it is meant to do!! Look beyond the characters and the love life! ppl in Mumbai can subscribe to www.karmayog.org and how Citizen Action Groups are being formed to work in cohesion with the Authorities and how things can be improved around yourself. and i've subscribed to BharatUday Mission's Newsletters over YahooGroups. They are doing some interesting work as well. Hope its not a political backing! But their Unison and work is impressive. Various chapters all across India are formed and ppl can work at city/town level or national level to make that difference which they want!

No, it doesn't hang up that often. But it does, once in a while, pretty rare. I guess, this is the issue with most phones, these days. But atleast, we dont lose valuable data on the phone, after a reboot. Have you tried a Infrared Dongle or a Cable to transfer Images and Videos?? I'm still to do that. Was wondering what wud be the best option!

Unsolicited calls on mobile? Solution soon Rediff.com | March 06, 2006 19:06 IST The Centre on Monday informed the Supreme Court that it will come out with a solution within two weeks to prevent unsolicited calls on mobile phones relating to tele-marketing, which amounts to invasion of privacy. A statement to this effect was given by additional solicitor general Gopal Subramanian before a Bench comprising Justice Ruma Pal and Justice Dalveer Bhandari. The Bench accepted the Centre's request for two weeks on the issue after recording the ASG's submission that steps have been taken to prevent the menace of unsolicited calls from tele-marketers. The Bench was informed that authorities had discussion with telecom service providers and they were cooperating to evolve a solution. The court was hearing a public interest litigation filed by Harsh Pathak seeking a law to ban unsolicited calls on mobile phones from various banks for loans or credit cards. The court had sought response from the law and justice ministry, MTNL, cellular operators -- Hutch, Reliance Infocomm, Idea Cellular, Bharti -- and multi-national banks like Citibank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, HDFC and ICICI. The PIL had contended that these unsolicited calls for a loan, credit card or even a new connection amounted to "endemic invasion of privacy of the subscribers of mobile telephony at all times and hours" and seriously impaired the fundamental rights of citizens. The PIL had said the mobile telephony service and tele-marketers were using the personal data of the subscribers for their business purposes as a product for sales promotion at the subscribers' personal and financial cost. Citing a law in the United States to ban such unsolicited calls, the petitioner, through advocate Vivek Tankha, had requested the court to direct the government to enact an appropriate law, scheme or regulation to protect the mobile phone users "from this constant harassment and invasion of privacy" by such calls. The PIL had said personal data given by a subscriber to a cellular service provider should be treated as confidential and there should be a law prohibiting service providers from transferring such personal data to other companies for commercial purposes. "The government should formulate a scheme to safeguard privacy of the subscribers and to compensate for the loss incurred by them due to such unethical actions of the respondents," Pathak said in the petition. He has also sought a direction for government to create a helpline and a forum to register complaints from mobile phone subscribers who have been harassed by unsolicited calls.

dacodecz... Not a single line of each post of yours is really worth answering to. Lot of anger and lot of "hep", that you've filled in yourself, is not coming out in the right manner. You are one of those guys at RDB, before they experienced the death of a close frnd. You are still at that stage. You are still to see more! May you not lose a close frnd to these dirty politicians, i hope! And thats wat we are talking abt.. Saving not just ourselves, but saving our future generations from the crap thats happening all around us. All if you can talk is crap and suggestions, then i'll have to barr you from this thread. Atleast thats wat i can do here, if not in the newspapers where ppl write like you do. I am glad out of 20 another posts after mine, there were atleast a couple of suggestions of wat we can do to improve things around us. My perspective on this whole, is not wat "should" be around me better... But its rather how can "I" do something better. Before we ask others to do their bit, lets start with ourselves. Not everybody needs to be a politician or a bureaucrat to clean the mess already done! I dont completely support the idea of joining a political outfit to voice and change the system. I like the way this system works. And i would rather be a person who would keep a check on this system in alot of ways, and still continue to do my own passionate profession, that i always enjoy! Let me give you one example to trigger your minds once again. Check out http://www.karmayog.com & http://www.praja.org or http://www.janaagraha.org Think and read before you vomit here again. I'll be back in some hours and read what you can make out, of wat i say....

If the charging port of ur PCB is giving trouble, please check ur charger's charging Pin. It shudn't be bent. If it is bent, then ur PCB can get damaged again n again. Its a bit delicate out there... Generally the LG ASC guys just solder the connection at the charging port on the PCB and return it back. They dont replace the PCB unless it is very necessary.

Which would be the best application to convert DVD to VCD Format?? Any help would be appreciated!

Cdma + Gsm Compatible World Phones To Be Launched In A Month !
Chirag replied to Arun's topic in The Lounge
Maybe u may want to use two different operators at a time on a cellphone as per your voice and data needs! Like at present for SMS needs n mobile net connection, the user may prefer RIM and for voice calls, may prefer a GSM operator! And also, you may want to keep Personal and Official Phone Numbers separate, once u have the choice of 2 numbers on a phone(it is being provided by some GSM operators already, to have 2 numbers on the same SIM) -
The MotherBoard of the phone is corrupt. You'll need to get that replaced from the LG Service Center. Hope the phone is well within warranty period!
