The fastest way i have found to fwd msgs to multiple nos. is to SAVE a msg to the UNSENT folder. once u click on that msg, it directly asks u to SEND it, and select the Entry, and then press CALL. It shoots! I msg nothing less than 100 msgs a day. And most of my msgs go widout me even looking at the screen. Once u keep doin it over n over again, ur fingers get habituated! Remember working on those damn typewriters? It was so hard to press "a" and ";" ... ! But then u get habituated and it works

BSNL plans Rs 10,000 cr expansion October 21, 2004 19:14 IST Rediff.com With the demand for its cellular services and SIM cards growing, the state-run Bharat Shanchar Nigam Ltd on Thursday said the proposed expansion of network of 15 million lines at an investment of Rs 10,000 crore (Rs 100 billion) would be completed over the next few months. "The roll-out plans are already being implemented in some areas. We have floated a tender for the expansion of our network and hope to complete the process soon," A K Sinha, BSNL chief managing director said. Asked about the shortage of SIM cards in some locations, Sinha said, "Despite the huge demand, we are able to meet it. We are adding 600,000 new subscribers every month. We will soon cater to the areas which have reported a shortage of SIM cards." He, however, pointed out that BSNL was spending upto Rs 1500 crore (Rs 15 billion) annually on consumption of diesel to run the exchanges in rural areas and asked the government to provide electricity faster to meet the rural telephony demand. Of the proposed expansion of 1.5 crore (15 million) new lines, Sinha said about 300,000 lines would be added in Jammu and Kashmir to meet the demand there. "In Jammu & Kashmir, we want every school-going child to carry a mobile phone and we hope to reach that stage soon," he said. Is this guy kidding??

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
Chirag replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
Yeh, The quickest way wud be to make an advance payment. For ex: Whenever u pay ur monthly bill, just add another month's payment in the cheque amt. The payment thru cheques has been the best way in RIM coz it shows up in the next bill as "Payment recd" and ur Passbook of ur Bank Account is accepted as a reciept of Payment in all courts of Law! We do this, even for our Electricity and Landline bills here in mumbai and its the best way to help escalate Credit Limits! -
Quite an interesting JOKE!! This is like one more funny SMS in my inbox which jus lits my face n gets me smiling!
-
It will if it wants to stay in the market!! BSNL is definitely going to prove a strong issue for RIM and i guess RIM will obviously look within a hundred times more than it was doing earlier! The HUNGAMA is over now...!

I was jus worried abt the outcome of such posts from Saurav n Beetle. But i cud hardly do anything due to my exams. Its really saddening to see that jus coz of a few flame posts and frustrated out-pours without enuf thoughtful inputs such things keep happening and finally the board is at loss. I dont know how many of u'll really know the life in a city like Mumbai... Its **** tough out here, esp if u r working, studying n being participative in several other things. i am glad that Gtran_rocks could hold onto his anger and did nothing other than jus givin a small justification for his act and then pulling himself off. If i'd be in his place, i'd do the same!! I've done it earlier. And i know how it is.. Arun might rem me doing this earlier somewhere else. As of now, i'd simply request members to keep aside personal flaming against co-members. and would request all members part of this flame to accept responsibility and reduce the gripe in all possible ways. I accept responsibility on my part for not reacting to ppl's flames in this issue and curbing it from my end. And am extremely sorry for the same on behalf of the Super-Mods. Such things will be amicably taken care of henceforth. Gtran_rocks, we'd be glad to have u on board anytime after u r free... for all those frenz and genuine members

Chirag replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
Every operator is trying to get defensive as far as the Bills are concerned. Due to so many fraudulent connections and non-payments of bills, they've installed credit limit analysers. I cant go deep into how it works as of now... But jus a word, if u keep paying in time, and as n when u r reqd to make interim payments, ur credit limits are increased seeing ur genuineness as a user. Dont get so frustrated wid it so soon! Thts all from me now. Running short of time! -

MUKESH AMBANI VOTED WORLD'S MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN TELECOMS IN 2004 Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Group Receives World Communication Award DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City), Navi Mumbai, October 12, 2004 Mr Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Infocomm and Chairman of FLAG Telecom, has won this year's prestigious World Communication Award as "most influential person in telecommunications in 2004". Acknowledging the honour, Ambani said in a statement: "The award is, of course, very much associated with a recognition of the rapidly growing influence of India in the global telecommunications arena." He said the dream of his visionary father, Sri Dhirubhai Ambani, who founded Reliance Industries a little over 35 years ago, was to build a business that would provide affordable means of information and communications to the people of India. "This award is a great tribute to Dhirubhai Ambani and his dream. In India, Reliance Infocomm is spearheading a massive telecommunications revolution with the vision to become a major global player over the next decade. Also, the strategic acquisition of FLAG Telecom will place India at the forefront of the global broadband revolution." He said today Reliance Infocomm is on course to achieve that dream. It has already constructed a pan-India optical fibre network, which will expand to over 100,000 kilometres of optical fibre and connect nearly 5000 cities and towns by this year-end. When completed, the Reliance network will provide broadband connections to millions of homes and offices offering the latest technology and direct connectivity to the rest of the world via the FLAG Telecom global network. Reliance Infocomm has also realised the founder's vision of making a phone call less expensive than a postage stamp. The company has more than eight million mobile customers and attained the leadership position in the Indian mobile market in less than seven months from launch of its operations in May last year. Despite this impressive growth, India's teledensity - fixed and mobile - is currently at less than nine per cent. Future growth potential is staggering. In addition to telecommunications and information technology, the Reliance Group employs more than 75,000 people in businesses as diverse as oil and gas exploration and production, refining, power, petrochemicals, textiles, financial services and insurance. Ed McCormack, Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, FLAG Telecom, received the award last night on behalf of Ambani at a glittering ceremony at London. Note to Editors: The World Communications Awards are sponsored by the leading global telecommunications publication "Total Telecom". The most influential person in telecommunications is chosen by the publication's readers. About FLAG Telecom FLAG Telecom, a member company of the Reliance Group (the "Group"), has an established customer base of more than 180 leading operators, including all of the top ten international carriers. FLAG owns and manages an extensive optical fibre network spanning four continents and connecting key business markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the USA. FLAG also owns and operates a low latency global MPLS based IP network, which connects most of the world's principal international Internet exchanges. FLAG offers a focused range of global products, including global bandwidth, IP, Internet, Ethernet and Co-location services. In its first international acquisition, FLAG Telecom became a Group company on 12 January 2004. Recent news releases and further information are on FLAG Telecom's website at: www.flagtelecom.com. About Reliance Infocomm Reliance Infocomm Ltd., a Reliance Group company, is India's largest mobile service provider with over seven million customers.
