Which city r u from? if u could let the rest know this, then probably there could be more specific answers. Anyways, theres obviously no guarantee. But 1 thing is for sure, tht there r some problems with specific Mobile nos. only or specific handsets only. So maybe the problem could be resolved once u have the new handset. But wht i worry is tht u wont get more money back incase u r in DAPO. Best would be to sell it to a frnd rather than returning it to Reliance. Otherwise costwise, FWP works cheaper anyday over Reliance Mobiles.

Jus to avoid repetition ur post has been edited. I dont know how this can be resolved. But i surely know tht u r wasting ur precious money by goin for R-Connect using a Reliance Mobile, if tht is all u want to do. I'd rather suggest u to go for Reliance FWP and dump this phone! u'll surely pay much lesser this way!

There is an option in Nokia phones to block incoming calls from specific nos.(telemarketers) I doubt if theres a similar thing for other handsets!

Customers in Lebanon will the first to be able to buy what is dubbed one of the biggest Islamic-related products since the prayer beads. It took the company -- Ilkone -- more than two years to develop. The phone -- the i800 -- was manufactured in Korea and is Ilkone's first product. 'Ilkone' is Arabic for 'the universe'. The company is a majority Arab-owned and the first regional player to tap the Middle East's fast growing mobile phone market. The i800 will next be sold in Malaysia, Turkey and Indonesia. Ilkone aims to bag a major share of the world's estimated 1.3 billion Muslims through this product. The company is hoping that the i800, which lacks a few features of the latest mobile phones, is likely to do very well in Saudi Arabia where camera phones are banned. For instance, even though Reliance Infocomm announced its prepaid service at Rs 3,500, dealers are now offering the service at even Rs 3,150. In fact, discounting of the offer had started on the first day itself with some dealers offering the service at Rs 3,400 against the MRP of Rs 3,500. Subsequently the rates had fallen to Rs 3,200 but the price seems to have hit another low now. It’s not clear how much more the price will fall to Rs 3,000. “We haven’t sold a single Reliance prepaid connection for Rs 3,500. Instead we sell at Rs 3,150, which brings in decent profits,” says Rakesh Jain, a dealer in Malad. On the prepaid scheme for Rs 3,150, a customer receives the Motorola C131 model with 10 vouchers worth Rs 3,240 with effective talk time of Rs 2,000, valid for six months. After six months, one can receive incoming calls for another six months but cannot make any outgoing calls unless you buy more vouchers. Dealers get creative Certain dealers sell the connections even at Rs 1,900 by unbundling the package. “Instead of offering 10 vouchers, we offer two vouchers providing talk time worth Rs 400 and are valid for a month,” says another dealer in Lower Parel. At Nariman Point, one can’t miss advertisements at dealer outlets offering the Motorola RIM handset for prepaid customers at Rs 1,499. Consumers can buy talktime vouchers for the amount they need rather than getting overloaded with talk time of Rs 2,000 that they are forced to consume in six months flat.

Lolz, jus thinking that they really need someone like RAO to make new ringtones for them, if at all they want abstract ones n not the movie ones! y cant they find someone good!! but still they did put up quite some no. of ringtones after a long time! never heard tht! Check up before goin for it... I guess its not possible to dl ringtones from R-World for NOKIA 2280. Anyways, i dont think u can ever get handset upgrade options with PREPAID. Coz if there was a SIM card, then there wouldn't have been a problem ever. Wht u could do is inquire with WW whether if u give this handset to someone else n get a new one for urself ... if they would shift the no. from the old one to the new one? i dont see tht as a big issue... Try it out..

Its not the prob with the charger... the connection between the phone n the charger is the prob... go to the LG Service Center. There they shall clean ur phone battery's terminal(which might have become black) with a solution that will restore the connection!

wow, this one is fantastic! Atleast for me coz i would always wonder how to listen to the entire tune, and then i would have to call up on my no. and listen to it!! lol... I noted the time. Every ringtone plays for exactly 20 secs and every button u press extends it by 10 secs! Great Finding!
