Do You Think Reliance Is Reliable?
Himanshu Singh replied to rajeshshah_fun's topic in Reliance Communications
You are right dude. All companies withdraw schemes. I can show many instances where both in prepaid or postpaid companies like airtel, idea and vodafone and for that matter mtnl have withdrawn schemes or altered them. With Reliance at least people can hope to get back the things by appealing to authorities but with other operators such things will not even be entertained. -

Only Mumbai? what about Delhi? -
What happens if someone has to change circles? will benefits like lifetime validity, lifetime jaadupack and the twin packs of 2222 and 4444 continue?? I think NO. One needs to factor that as well given the type of regional mobility we have these days.

Terms & Conditions For Postpaid Activation Charge Refund:
Himanshu Singh posted a topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Rs 500 taken at the time of activation, will be refunded to the customer @ Rs 100/month (adjusted against his usage), wef his 4th bill, for a period of 5 months. The refund would be a maximum amount of Rs. 100/- per month from 4th month till 8th month only. In case in a particular month, the usage is less than Rs. 100/-, the amount of his usage will be discounted and the balance amount, if any, will not be refunded in subsequent months. This amount will reflect as a activation fee refund on the bill. In case there is no usage in a particular month, customer will not be entitled to discount in that particular month. This is an activation amount and cannot be refunded unless customer continues to be on our network till his 8th bill is generated. There is no separate security deposit amount that the customer needs to pay. This is a welcome move by Airtel. It offers a postpaid connection virtually free of cost making it more attractive.I hope others take a cue from Airtel. -

Reliance launches STD offer for Reliance Mobile GSM
Himanshu Singh replied to vvinayakpai's topic in Miscellaneous
STD pack balance is shown at the end of the call now. On recharge of 35 you get credit of 3000 units. Every STD call is being charged at 60 credit units thereby offering 50 minutes of STD call. for example when i made the first call my balance became 2940 units. after next call it was 2880 units. Strange way but something is better than nothing. -
What is the consensus view then? Good scheme or Bad one?
-
such plans can be made available in lesser congested circles by new operators it seems.

I am using rgsm in delhi since 2nd feb without any problem either of call drop or of network busy. all my calls get through. yes signals are weak at places but even when the signal bar is one there is no voice cracking unlike other operators. -

99% Of Mobile Users Are Prepaid
Himanshu Singh replied to hritik123's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
I dont think remembering dates for recharging with STVs remains a big issue after the introduction of LifetimeJaadu pack. Its a lesser expensive way of doing away with having to remember the dates for cost cutters. -

99% Of Mobile Users Are Prepaid
Himanshu Singh replied to hritik123's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
It may not be entirely correct but its not too much off the mark. even if 90% of all connections are prepaid, its a huge figure. it makes sense too. for a monthly expenditure of 31 in prepaid one can enjoy all calls@1. postpaid arpus for all telecom companies cant be more than 450-500.in the same expenditure one would rather use prepaid than stick his neck out for erroneous billings of companies. since lifetime prepaid came i am sure postpaid has become an expensive affair for sub500 customers. -

The 9 Crore Versus 30 Crore Spend To Garner Subscribers
Himanshu Singh replied to ravi_patent's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
An excellent piece of literature in that article. its my guess that within two more years reliance will be the number one telecom company in india.its not really a rocket science to know why. it has the most modern equipments due to it being a new entrant in gsm space with no congestion. when it is fully up commercially after this customer experience prog. is over i can be sure that there would be offers and schemes hard to resist.
