I mailed to service assurance cell and they say there are no black out days. Customer care also says the same thing. How to reach a conclusion? Or we have to wait till next black out day to find out?

What is this? I got a new number on 22. Does it mean I have to face these blackout days?

Tata Docomo Launches Free ‘Air Time Rollover Plan’ For Postpaid
Himanshu Singh posted a topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
TATA DoCoMo today launched yet another first in the industry; ‘Free Air Time Rollover’ (FAT) offer for its potential and existing individual postpaid customers. Earlier the “Rollover Plan” facility was available for Enterprise Customers across all the circles. The offer is a unique one where potential and existing customers can roll over their current unused free air time to next month! What makes this further compelling is that Tata DOCOMO allows the roll over of free air time for a period of 6 months. The Free Air Time roll over plan is available under the most lucrative 20 options of their popular Diet 299 and Diet 499 plans In other words, the offer allows the customers to choose amongst different combinations that suit their usage pattern, under each plan. If customers are unable to use the complete FAT Rollover offered in the plan in one month, the same is carried forward to next month along with the regular monthly FAT Rollover. The cumulative FAT Rollover will be available for a period of 6 months. Post the sixth month; the cumulative un-utilized FAT Rollover will be forfeited. “This offer is yet another first in the Telecom industry and is true to our core values of honesty and transparency wherein we give our customers the opportunity to roll over their unused airtime to the next month. We are confident that this will come as a delight to our customers as it will liberate them from the pressure of exhausting the free airtime within the same month and will also significantly increase the value provided in the plans-Mr. NV Subbarao, Regional Head – South East, TATA DOCOMO said. -

Idea is th the best gsm operator in Delhi as per my own experience.. The call quality, tariff plans, customer care are better than Airtel and Vodafone for sure.. Wisdom lies in choosing provider sensibly without being emotionally attached to A or B.. -

Himanshu Singh replied to KAPILKDEV's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Well as you have rightly put it, this one is a useless plan.. STD@30 paise!! sounds good but 600 minutes/month? Naaa thats not good.. Local @50 paise isn't all that great these days.. TATA indicom pay per second is a better plan anyday!! -
Which Service Providers Are Present In Mussoorie?
Himanshu Singh posted a topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Hello friends.. I am going to Mussoorie, Uttarakhand for training which will last for about 100 days.. Here are a few things that I would like to ask those who have visited Mussoorie or have someone over there to confirm about these things: 1. Is RCDMA present there? I am interested in knowing if its available near Gandhi chowk. 2. Is the service good enough? 3. What are the other alternatives(GSM included) if RCDMA is absent or isn't good enough? Thank you in advance to all wonderful friends at Rimweb. -

Cheapest Prepaid Gsm Plan For Sending 950 Sms
Himanshu Singh replied to starnet's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Mate Get Aircel.. They have a Rs.79 recharge which offers 20000 local and national sms without any restriction on number of texts that can be sent in a particular day.. RGSM may be cheaper as it offers 500 local/national/roaming sms for a daily debit of Re.1 but the experience with the quality of network may leave you disappointed.. -
Hi.. I would also like someone to enlighten me about the samsung B 559? Does it really have 1300 mAh battery? And what about the price?

LG 6300 is a good medium budget OMH set and value for money.. It could be an option..
-
Friend I stay at Dwarka and network is no good here.. Though there is definitely some improvement during last 2 months but nowhere near Idea/Airtel/Vodafone/Aircel.. I am using it as my secondary number only for the cheap calling/texting tariff.. GPRS connection is never stable.. So you may be badly disappointed if you are planning to use it.. And one more thing... With RGSM battery drains out at double speed no matter which handset you use..

Reliance Jio - Pan India 4G / LTE network
Himanshu Singh replied to Arun's topic in Reliance Jio 4G LTE (Prepaid & Postpaid)
Reflecting brotherly love, Anil compliments Mukesh on telecom NEW DELHI: The infamous Ambani battles appear to be a thing of past as Anil Ambani today welcomed his elder brother Mukesh-led RIL's entry into the telecom space. And as if not to compete with RIL, which acquired the sole pan-India broadband licensee Infotel, Anil's group firm Reliance Communication exited the 16-day long wireless spectrum auction a week ago. Even a whiff of coming together of the two brothers has seen share prices of their group companies soaring and the latest gesture by Anil Ambani prompted market watchers to wonder if this was the beginning of the coming together of the two billionaire brothers, who made headlines for the last six years for their bitter fights. "We welcome the entry of Reliance Industries into the high potential Wireless Broadband space," an Anil Ambani group spokesperson said, within hours of RIL announcing acquisition of Infotel for Rs 4,800 crore. As a result of the deal, RIL would also have to pay Rs 12,872 crore to the government towards 20 Mhz spectrum. Incidentally, RCom was a major bidder for 5 Mhz spectrum for 3G telecom services and acquired the most number of circles including the prized Mumbai and Delhi, for over Rs 8,000 crore. "As leading telecom infrastructure and content service providers, we look forward to offering our services to RIL and other BWA players, even while we compete for customers in the market place through our choice of different technologies," RCom said in a statement. The statement assumes significance in the wake of a truce signed by both Mukesh and Anil to end the non-compete agreement, which was part of the family settlement to divide Reliance empire in June 2005. Differences had cropped up much before. "RIL and Reliance ADA group are hopeful and confident that all these steps would create an overall environment of harmony, cooperation and collaboration between the two groups, thereby further enhancing overall shareholder value for shareholders of both the groups," the two Ambani groups had said in identical statements last month. -

I bought it for Rs.6250 in Delhi.. Its a good phone. Battery could have been better than 800 mAh..LG 6300 has 1300 mAh battery and costs Rs.4800 only.. The music and picture quality is better than Nokia E 63 that I use.. It has large sms storage capacity and also address book.. The looks are great with slim body and light weight plus metal finish.. Call and voice quality are best of all CDMA phones that I have used till date.. Overall a good OMH phone at this price..

Nokia Introduces Its First Dual Sim Mobile Phone
Himanshu Singh replied to kk999's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Nokia should pull up its socks, its strategies seem out of sync with Indian consumer demands..Samsung and HTC are giving it good competition..
