how good are you at the command line? Do you use Linux? Dont use the crap that is given away by reliance. If it can make the BSD kernel panic then it must be a really ****ty piece of hack that they have given to the MAC users. Search for Rconnect scripts for Linux online. You can have it setup and running with little or no modifications.

their website s**ks. Its never updated.

Pune Plans To Be World's First 'wirefree' City
linuxguy replied to vmsanghrajka's topic in The Lounge
Maharashtra has a potential of producing 75,000MW of power purely from Hydro -electric projects said a Japanese report. Even if we manage to produce half that all the state's power problems will be solved, for a while atleast! -
wouldn't be easier for all of us to lay a bot-net on this guy? DDoS him off the face of this earth? God...he is pathetic. Dear Mantraway, any professional company wouldn't be answering / reacting to anything posted by even one of its disgruntled customers on a public forum. You must have a lot of time to pursue this *particular* customer on this forum. You are just plain unprofessional which leads me to further believe that you are a one man company and a fraudster. http://www.rimweb.in/forums/index.php?showtopic=2276&st=15# Oh man...your posting style, sentence construction, wording seems very similar to a very arrogant and stupid guy I knew. I hope you are NOT the same as him. Oddly enough he too was a Bihari babu :\ ( No offence to Biharis over here ). Why dont you just refund the guy his money and show that you are _NOT_ a scamster? Or have you blown it all off on booze and babes?

hehehe. You are evil like me Ashokjp Santosh Jain you have some time before someone reports you. Just come clean and everything will be all right...

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
linuxguy replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
Wait there just for a minute....If I remember this correctly when my mother had purchased DAPO, she was required to give a WHOLE LOT OF DETAILS to Reliance including her pay slips for 6 months or so, she was also required to give residence proof, the electricity bill, landline bill and may be even her tax returns and what not... They had verified a whole lot before she got her instrument. Now as I understand Reliance has tightened up its rules and verification procedures. Reliance need not hire a detective to verify the credibility of a customer. Its as simple as checking his income tax returns if he is earning (salaried or otherwise). Atleast those customers shouldn't be subject to this humiliating credit limit. Those who don't pay the IT because of various reasons like they aren't earning or they are outside the tax bracket etc... well for them to have a credit limit is ok. If they had to put a credit limit then why do they take a deposit in the first place? I recently got myself a hutch connection and there is no such thing as a credit limit for me. I can run up a bill of 25000 or 300. -
you decide Hehe, services open on his "Server" PORT STATE SERVICE 21/tcp open ftp 23/tcp closed telnet 25/tcp open smtp 53/tcp open domain 80/tcp open http 110/tcp open pop3 143/tcp open imap 220/tcp closed imap3 443/tcp open https 3389/tcp open ms-term-serv Seems hes using Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I wonder if thats legal or not? The EE is supposed to be the costliest of all Win Server editions... May be he should be reported to M$ for piracy....

Pune Plans To Be World's First 'wirefree' City
linuxguy replied to vmsanghrajka's topic in The Lounge
Why doesnt mumbai do something like this?! -
Sorry boss. It's not so simple to get past me. I know my networking. That statement is a full of bullcrap . Anyone with tiny bit of knowledge regarding servers knows that whether you use a static IP like 275.25.35.99 ( kids thats an invalid IP. Dont play with it. ) or you use a dynamic IP and then use a dynamic DNS provider to point your domain to your dynamic IP wont make ANY ( keyword being _A_N_Y_, read that VERY LOUDLY AND SLOWLY! ) difference to the "security" of your server because in both the cases your server is publicly routable (if you dont know what that means then you better look it up :'( ) and just as vulnerable. You really dont want me to go into the specifics of your BSNL, Reliance Powersurfer IP pool. Better do some firefighting before your company completely burns down.... So there. You're a scamster. Have a nice day :'( P.S.: My advice, get yourself a _real_ server in some good DC (not the VSNL crap in India) and stop being cheap on your customers :'( Edit: Woo hoo!!! http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph/?host=www.mantraway.com I love digging up dirt on this guy...

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
linuxguy replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
what next will these stingy companies think of next. Why the hell does one go in for post paid? Wheres the advantage of post paid? This is just like prepaid except you have a flexible credit! ********! Can't they determine if the person is a real or fraudulent when they issue a connection?! :| -
Seeing the plight of all the Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer(DAPO) users. I took the liberty to make an online petition. Please sign it. Also urge friends, relatives, or anyone who are caught up in the DAPO to sign the online petition. Dont think that this petition online and thus worthless. Any company has to listen to this perfectly valid petition if there are sufficient people signing up. Also, please refrain from signing the petition twice or the likes.... it will just reduce the credibility of the petition. Lets see if we can get enough people to sign it so that Reliance listens to our voice! Post about this petition where ever you go. The link is very very simple too! http://www.petitiononline.com/rilpet01/petition.html

Number Portability Implementation in India
linuxguy replied to niket's topic in Indian Telecom / General News

i hope this isn't a real convo

We f*cking pay 40% of this freakin' countries taxes and Airtel refuses to service the whole of Mumbai. If you ask me Bharati Mittal is out of his mind! :| On a lighter note, I hope BSNL comes out with unlimited broadband AT AFFORDABLE PRICE (eg. 500-900 bucks a month WITH NO PORTS / PROTOCOLS BLOCKED ) and NO TIME RESTRICTION! Note the keywords. Hopefully, MTNL will follow suite.

Oh really? You got proof? What about the proof that I posted a ages back? I am getting amused by your behavior. You ask for help but then don't really want to take it. Great going. Forget your money. You will be spending way more travelling and bringing this clown to justice. With the kind of law and order we have in Bihar may be your great grand children may get 0.1% of what you paid him while spending 1,000,000 times more It's not speculation. It's a fact P.S.: No offense meant to Biharis.
