What did that report say? It said that maharashtra ALONE had an unxploited potential of 75000MEGAWATTS of electric power through hydro-electric projects. While Maharashtra (or was it Mumbai?) is suffering a electricity shortage of only 2000-3000MW of energy! Imagine 75000MW of CLEAN energy!
