yeah. i got training + license in Rs.2000/- for 20hrs.

It's complete BS. Even in countries like the US/Korea which have a HUGE per capita income, the rates are nothing near these rates. For them 256K connections no longer exist. Only 512 and upward exist. 512 is their "poor mans broadband". God knows when these a$$ holes are going to learn. P.S.: Sorry for the harsh language.

no biosbhai, we will have 1GBps bandwidth with 1Bit limit ( monthly )
-
why would i pay to listen to internet radio on RIM's rip off handsets? I would rather buy an FM radio handset with mp3 player. I can listen to music when I have FM signal and to my mp3s when I dont ^^

There is no BSNL in mumbai only MTNL. Thats why you can make and receive calls in Mumbai
-
still, you cant have more than 2 or 3 people accessing your "webserver" at the same time. BTW what software are you planning to use?
-
i recently heard about 3G being used for broadcasting radio in the UK. The cost will be as high as $10 (USD) per hour. Heh, so we will have to pay Rs.430+ for listening to some dumb radio station on r-world
-
forget r-connect charges guys. r-connect is NOTHING as compared to 256Kbps/512Kbps connections. I am dissapointed that TRAI has said NOTHING about the VOLUME OF DATA TRANSFER. They should've plugged that loop hole We really need fast unlimited download, always on connections.
-
You're going to start a webserver with a reliance connection?
-
stupid people. They are always harrasing good customers. Did you guys hear about the citybank fiasco? People got really angry by bad behavior, threatening calls. They treat customers like trash >
-
right, first give us unlimited superfast internet. Then move on to IPv6.
-
I highly recommend x430. It's a superb phone from samsung!
-
Whats MIN? If you've lost your mobile no. then just call someone with an caller id. Your no. will surely show up which you can then note down
-
you can surf 24x7 but if you cross 1GB data transfer then you will be billed per MB.

Dacodez, now you're not making ANY sense. This particular TWEAK sets the QoS packet schedular's reservable bandwidth to 0% effectively disabling it. Thus, you will be able to download at 100% of your bandwidth instead of the 80% previously. Now what part of this clarification dont you understand?
-
eww get that piece of ^* out of your box! pronto! Use gaim/kopete. They are the best!
-
shutup dacodez. you're arrogance saddens me. Others: This is a real "tweak" and it will work. QoS is Windows' Quality of Service packet schedular. What it does is, it reserves 20% of the total bandwidth currently available to Windows. Why does it do that? No, they dont want to slow down your internet connection but they want to reserve the bandwidth. Suppose you got a 100Kbps connection. Windows will reserve 20Kbps while 80Kbps will be freely available to all programs. Now lets say you are downloading a Linux distro. There are also, messengers, p2p apps, browsers, etc... running. These apps contend fiercely for bandwidth. This will lead to certain critical apps(if any) from getting any bandwidth at all UNLESS something gives it RESERVED bandwidth. Yep, thats exactly what QoS Packet schedular does. It ensure that all applications get atleast a MINIMUM share of the entire bandwidth. Now, if you use this tweak and set the reservable bandwidth to 0 then you might have some weird experiences like your messenger just disconnects or your browser doesnt display any content while you're doing heavy downloading. For Win XP users you can uninstall the QoS packet schedular. This will remove the QoS entirely.

Had been to Taj's land's end recently for a conference. It was ****TY. Taj has lost its credibility :@

You can use DOS BOX to run most DOS programs. Anyway, if you still want to multiboot using DOS then GRUB can do it for you. Unplug your other drives and install DOS on your new drive. Then edit grub to boot that drive like this: rootnoverify (hdX,0) makeactive chainloader +1 where hdX is the DOS drive.

somebody already posted this earlier.

Just email the chairman's office asking the definition of 1GB by reliance and if you get the same reply then you have WRITTEN proof
-
I just hope they have affordable plans with NO download or port caps
-
run this "chmod 755 <file_name>" as root. Ofcourse you replace the filename and remove the "" before running the command
-
I had a HELL LOT OF billing problems in the begining but now it has all smoothened out
-
If I were you, I would've brought down their servers on a regular basis
