Setting Up Internet For Linux Using Lg 110 Fwp
linuxguy replied to RuiD's topic in Technical / OS related
thats some good news! As for the kde part, its as simple as making a new connection. Configure the connection as normally you would and set the device appropriately (/dev/<whatever>). Also, dont forget to add that initialization string. -

Sprint Teams With Reliance Infocomm
linuxguy replied to chandramauli's topic in Reliance Communications
Huh??? didnt get wht u wanted to say ?? please elaborate !! 26066[/snapback] I thought reliance tied up with sprint to provide broadband connections to its users.(And I mean REAL Broadband) -
Ok, I got you . I have a similar policy at my place but its bit more complex.
-
cool down dacodez! 6Mbps wont lead to ANY DoS attack . 6Mbps is nothing compared to the bandwidth that commercial websites have.
-
Thats dumb. No system is perfect especially GSM. It is soooo old.

Delhi Police Slaps Case On Reliance
linuxguy replied to chandramauli's topic in Reliance Communications
i have complained about the use of the word BROADBAND for their 128Kbps connection! According to DOT and TRAI its not BROADBAND. It's illegal and false info! I have not received any response from reliance :@ How do I contact the chairman??? -
not always a good idea to drop...
-
****y download quota plans! If they would've just given the plan at an affordable flat rate they would've spared you(the customer) and themselves(the service provider) a LOT OF headache! You would've actually LIKED reliance instead of HATING them right now
-
Yes, yes thats all fine BUT FIRST WE NEED UNLIMITED 256 or 512Kbps connections WITHOUT data/port caps AT Rs.200 - 400 per month. The TV and all comes later on...
-
What is the EG-Linux campaign? I may be interested.
-
broadband starts at Rs.400 in China and it starts at Rs.800 in India. Rather we dont have REAL BROADBAND
-
Rs.2400 for a 512Kbps line is just plain bull$hit!!! What does that mean???
-
thats because CDMA has WAY MORE capacity than GSM networks
