any way 7 operator per circle is more than enough competition in such sector, where u have to give connectivity to each village in india. all new operator haven't enter any of village in last 3 years

@kesav rightly said no one will bid for cdma spectrum. and those company need not bid in auction for any additional spectrum. BTW 3 circle of tata tel where it's license gets cancel will have to compulsorily bid to get spectrum, bcoz tata had already started operation with good amount of subscriber base of Photon+ customers. J&K, assam and north east,, bcoz they are having maximum cities under EVDO in these circles. total 71 cities in these 3 circle So price in these circle might be slightly higher for MTS. but otherwise considering these circle into C category, base price so low that even 10% rise wont affect these two companies

all 6 idea circle where idea is having good customer base will be continued, other 3 will be return and exit. MTS will bid again for 21 circle. uninor may skip few circle, where they haven't got spectrum or are very less interested like JK, assam etc. will continue in 13+ circle. Stel will close 2G operation and move out, and will sell 3G license to that operator who don't have 3g license in that area. this way batelco will continue with it's investment in india. tata will bid again for those 3 circle. videocon will return spectrum & exit biz, etisalat may look new telecos (preferably Rcom) and will close down current Cheers mobile, DB realty will exit. spectrum return back to govt Loop will Sell and exit. or may return back and exit., it's mumbai circle will be merged with other operator like idea/vodafone. spice communication return and exit biz.

plz share ur view on following 1)AVI cartel is doing IRCA(intra cirrcle roaming ) for 3G services like video calls and internet via USB modem. 2) vodafone launched netcruise , MTS network based EVDO service. what is dieerence between thse thwo. i found no differnce, vodafone not having EVDO, so selling dongle under netcruise brnad, reciving payment of rechage from customer, and were given a dongle which is having MTS MDN, and work on MTS network. Same is happening with 3G, except service available on SIM card which works on handse and USB modem. they Why DOT/TRAI is not taking any objection. ---------------------------------------------- i came to know that uninor is jumping into data card business from just prepaid 2G mobile service provider. Uninor will bundle MTS EVDO modem under it's own brand and launch service very soon.

it doent take more than 7 days to activate DND, no problem with those call for just 7 days

a day before yesterday i had registed for some promo activity, and after submitting form immeditaly got response that this number is in NDNC list, so couldnt receive call, so further i had given mdn of newly purchased sim, whose dnd was not active, so after 2 hrs got call from same company, and number displayed as 1409YYXXXX, so after checking website found that telemarker were given new series of number. 1409 represent call is made by some tele-caller YY represnt operator name and circle name XXXX represent calling number.

that great sougata. interestingly u said call to Bangladesh is cheaper, so no other operator provide better tariff for isd calls to Bangladesh

i am pressing hard to nodal officer of maharashtra for introducing these plan in circle. but it seems they are even not aware of these plan does exist and no one is interested for such plan

yes i too faces while activation, it took me to send multiple sms and once it works. FOr MPCG circle it working but for maharashtra circle not getting activated, not even single time it works

Is it so? I tried hard to get a retailer around CST in Mumbai who does recharge for MTS. There was none! Every retailer asked me to switch over to other operator. The situation was a bit better, albeit not good, in Navi Mumbai for MTS. Then how come the Mumbaikars giving huge profits to MTS, so that they don't come out with data plans for mobiles? MTS is earning huge profits from it's Mblaze(EVDO) customers. bcoz they r offering data card at lowest price in market, here in maharashtra, bew mts mblaze available at just rs 750 Even u dont get second hand 3G dongle at this rate. On an average each active mblaze customer gives rs 400-500 ARPU. and installing EVDO network wont cost substantially to MTS when compared spectrum cost of 3g airwave and network cost over CDMA 1X. and finally customer dont have choice to insert other operator sim card, bcoz unlocing is not easily available and other CDMA operator wont offer any good plan on sim card. Mblaze customer generally make rechagres once in month or once in 2/3/6 month. so less number of reatilers are sufficiently cater to all prepaid Mblaze user. Even postpaid mblaze user will come only once in 30 days for bill payment. and EVERY internet user of mblaze is having web based payment option, so need to go out of home. In compared to voice customer. which require large base of reatilers for making chota rechagre every day, and voice customer wont go for web based online payment. last but not least- DATA WORKS GREAT ON CDMA/EVDO NETWORK COMPERED TO GSM/3G. so happy customers

i have finally decided to move away from CDMA technology, so i will be porting my number to GSM. So of course, android handset will be best choice for me. But i am not comfortable with touch screen phones.
