i had activated Rs5 plan But i was being chagred for thethering , and using phone as modem. Not able to check EVDO, bcoz sim was non-omh. But handset browsing was free upto given limit.

Telecom policy getting tougher profit is shrining pay addtion expense above 6.2Mhz And unfavoured rule for Rural telephony. These make them wise decsion. But Rcom is doing to save thier legs in HIGHLY COMPETITIVE TELECOM indusry. bcoz thet are overburden by 3G aution and DEBT.

who want CDMA 3G aution? Who will benifited? Who r loosers? What impact on consumers? And chages in telecom industr?

No deepan, I need only for my single connection. If free yage can be utilized in roaming then this is best for me, but It is not showing under TTML(maharashtra circle)

one doubt Does this 100 min on net and off net can be used when we are in roaming ? This will make one can stay in roaming for 30days a month, if his requiremnt is less than 100+100min o/g and 100 min i/c call per month.

After reading and discussing so much. I have decided not to PORT IN or PORT OUT any of my, or families or relatives number. Just 1 secondary number will be ported from TI to docomo ( for getting better choice of handsets). Like Entry level handset with DUAL sim. no other handset are being considering, bcoz it's secondary number. And Primary number is MTS with GOOD CDMA handset, so no need of looking for costly GSM set. OR Nearly ALL WORST handset in range of CDMA+GSM. and ZERO choice in CDMA+CDMA. Otherwise MNP is not USEFUL at ALL to me. Just waiting for Inter-circle MNP.

finally MTS started EVDO in their First circle, with highest user.

I am not agreeing with u, I have device which i used under following sim Tata OMH tata non omh reliance omh reliance non omh Mts omh MTS non omh BSNL(don't know it's omh or not) Result are Reliance, tata, mts In case of omh n/w is EVDO , speed 3.1 mbps non omh speed 153kbps, cdma1x network BSNL - speed 3.1 mbps But BSNL sim card inserted into corby - network cdma 1x, speed 153kbps, and NO error while opening browser(which comes when inserted non-omh sim- "plz upgrade ur UIM to acess data service") apart from these, it also have setting for virgin mobile, let hope it will not happen with MTNL sim card. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Did anybody tried using MTNL cdma 1x phone/modem/mobile in BSNL cdma network? does it works? does internet in BSNL n/w works? If yes, then we can get unlimited surfing all over india at just Rs75.

if Recently I visited TI shop to port in to Tdocomo frm TI. There i came to know Tata selling 2 types of OMH RUIM - one with no data services, and 2nd with EVDO activated i.e. Photon+ on mobile ! so no question of non -data service sim card But you can not use this RUIM on your EVDO modem to access internet! This s**ks! on 3G one SIM gives your power to connect to internet via mobile, modem or watever device that has a USIM slot! CDMA is loosing to GSM! Every sim card of tata indicom is having pre-activated data service i.e. Tata zone and internt on pc. so no question of non -data service sim card. If u r refering to SpeedLiving then it's Tata photon plus on mobile. Which offer 10Gb data usage free for 2months. 10Gb can be used only FOR SURFING /DOWNLOADING THROUGH MOBILE PHONE OR VIA TATA ZONE. thetering is not possible with this DATA BALANCE. If u do tethering then it will charge u defualt tariff of 50p/Mb. Ant sim (normal or speedliving) will work with modem or phone and can do surfing on phone or PC. with applicable tariff or charges. Don't reply on CC of Telecom operator. go with TRUE and Real experiance of Rimwebian.

I have seen BSNL sim, No logo of OMH, no singal of EVDO when put in corby handset,. But it works on 3.1 mbps with micromax 300c moedem................... Might me it's not omh but have EVDO PRL inbuilt

They charged me 49/- for the sim I enquired at nearest mts store. He said Sim free FRC13 SRC(second rechage coupan Rs50. TT 75(43 main 32 promo) Tariff 1/2 paisa local, 1 paisa std Tariff validity 90 days sim validity lifetime. Then can rechgarge with Rs103/109 etc. Where i will get 75/125 MIN(not sure for exact) min local for 6 or 12 months ... Also Sim card was having old mts number, which will be erased out. and new number put in place. OMH sim card. Procedure takes Mainly 4 days.
