i have tested rCDMA and TATA indicom OMH sim in this modem. Both case's it was able to latch to EVDO network and given more than 1MBPS speed. So modem is enabled with all cdma sim card

i had seen brouchere. alive and olive are EVDO REV a handsets. from micromax and fly respectively.

I think no signal will appear when u roam into MTNL area. no 1X or EVDO network

I have purchased handset for my friend, And currently he and myself is outstation, First impression given by handset after handling 2Hrs is as below. -> Phone is very slim, so don't feel bulky due to full keypad. -> screen clearity is good, -> camera is 2MP, so u can expect better than average pic clarity. -> Desktop have acees to facebook, opera message and few more shortcut. -> Music quality through given 3.5mm is not upto mark. -> Wireless FM is very good, with external speaker quality. -> charger and phone data combine and given just one cable.(saving cost+chinese Dimag).Phones gets charge from PC. -> Pc sync sofware not included in box, so downloded from website. But it's not having good UI, so not tried any option. -> Wifi gets connected easily, but not used. -> Black colour set is purchased, becasue Silver set may gets scratches with slight rough handling. Even TTML are testing MNP in maharashtra, because when i check call detail Destnination number is prefixed with LRN e.g. 3404922525XXXX where 3404 is LRN and 922xxxxxxx is destination number of tata indicom. So we can expect MNP by 31st OCT.
