It is called as Contension ratio. That means X Amt of Bandwidth is allocated to maximum Y number of customer. contention ratio 1:20. 1 unit of bandwidth is allocated to 20 users. 1Unit = 1Mbps or 2Mbps or X Kbps. It is done so that all user are not using data simultaneously. so operator can save cost on infrastructure.

i got it frm Pali(Rajasthan Circle). network is very good. it is omh evdo enabled ruim. it cost 39/- rs for ruim with 10/- rs balence. i check evdo from this ruim with my ruim enabled evdo data card. Nice to see, BSNL started OMH EVDO RUIM in market. How is speed of EVDO??? post review. Also post picture of RUIM showing OMH logo

It's faboulous to see. Aircel launched service in MPCG circle few days ago. And selling sim card in Chhattisgarh without network :confuse: . So when i enquired one of retailer, he said, " u can log onto any network aviable in ur area-no roaming charges untill u r inside ur home circle(MPCG)" Any network = Airtel or IDEA or VodaFone or GSM network. I remembered same thing was done by Viedeocon in mumbai with loop network. still don't know sastus of videocon n/w in mumbai. IF TRAI permit to use other's network, then why shud they invest heavily in building infrastucture???
