  15. yes thr is way. 1)If u want EVDO to be enabled on any handset. or 2)u want PHOTON+ tariff/services to be used in any SIM/non-SIM based handset, then u can use following trick. First change ur sim to omh, ask them to do ESN chage directly from syste, and not from insta chage card. get it activated from corby handset dialing *228, then inster that sim to any evdo enabled phone. or if it is non sim ,then use insta chage card supplied with it. Second from tata photon+ prepaid or postpaid, Follow proceudure given in insta chage card and tranfer ur number to OMH sim/ evdo enbled handset. and enjoy photon tariff in ur handset. I will post my experince soon. hope u understnad this.

  17. ZTE Launches Indonesia EVDO Network Posted on Jan 19, 2010 | 15:01 Email to friend TD-SCDMA equipment manufacturer ZTE Corporation (ZTE) (0763.HK,000063.SZ) has constructed and launched a commercial EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) Rev.B network in Bali, Indonesia, the company announced January 18. The system provides an average download speed between 8.6Mbps and 9.3Mbps, according to the company announcement. http://www.jlmpacificepoch.com/newsstories?id=161929_0_5_0_M Bali-based Smart Telecom launches first EVDO Rev. B network By Dusan Belic on Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 at 1:23 AM PST In General In the times when we all wait for the first LTE network to launch, one would think no one would waste resources on the EVDO Rev. B network. That’s not the case with Bali-based Smart Telecom, which is officially the first carrier to launch the updated EVDO network. Those unfamiliar should know that EVDO Rev. B is an evolutionary update to the Rev. A standard, which is used by U.S. carriers such as Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and Sprint (NYSE: S). It should enable speeds of up to 9.3Mbps in the downlink and 5.4Mbps in the uplink. But Smart Telecom is not the only one – Japan’s KDDI and China Telecom are also interested in EVDO Rev. B and are in the midst of trialing the technology; whereas Chinese Huawei and ZTE are making necessary hardware. Finally, Smart Telecom wants to upgrade the majority of its network to Rev. B standard by the end of this year. First compliant devices offered will be laptop modems http://www.intomobile.com/2010/01/13/bali-based-smart-telecom-launches-first-evdo-rev-b-network.html
