The one million minutes free is for calls within the network Thats fine.. but 1) Is it for a single user or what. 2) Period - Within 1 year ? Thatys why gimmick suits it. 150minutes to any MTS local calls., shud be consumed on same day itself period is lifetime

By the style in which they're mentioning names of citites/towns, its really gonna be difficult for any new provider to cover Nationwide Customers. You see.. Virgin is no more a virgin today.. lag gayee hai ! what exactly u mean to say? those town are not much population or they are already having high teledensity. LT at 25 very common, if 34 gives double validity, it is just one time offer, not so cool. RS79, 999sms means 7paise per sms. if local+std then very good

i had written on-net in mypost. also any way it is cheper than rcom offering 500min/month for lifetime in rs4444 and also if u stick for even 1year with MTS, ur rs499 deal will be profitable

Ah... and I thought CDMA doesn't support it!! :'( no u r wong dont' forget that rcom sending sms sfter calling to *225, so MTS had just changed it to AFTER CHARGABLE CALL it's implementation is simple. Thats a nice way to look at it dude!!!!!!!!! Now I can feel proud of Reliance not prividing such a service.......... it 's matter of customer , some customer are lazy for reading sms also and cdma dos't support USSD as in case of GSM

which city u r from? how much is distance between evdo tower and ur pc? how much time period speed remanin 2.8Mbps? which usb model u r using? and what will speed once many cust latch on n/w?

tata network is although less, but it is not as saturated as reliance is? i agree that rcom cdma n/w is best, but tariff is best for virgin. and don't forgot about investment of tata through NTT docomo.

They have a roaming agreement with Tata Indicom and I have used the same in Punjab, Haryana & Delhi. You can only make/receive calls and SMS does not work on Tata Indicom's roaming at the moment. The number series in Rajasthan is 9875 and 9667. The co. is going to launch services in Tamil Nadu-Chennai and Kerala soon and the number series for these circles is 9150 and 9142 respectively. Sistema has already launched services in Rajasthan and is planning to begin in Tamil Nadu and Kerala by March. Shyam has already completed set up of it's CDMA n/w in 2 states, and soon they will launch service.
