  1. Reliance EVDo DATA CARD RATE IS AS FOLLOWS

    hUWAEI EC186-4500

    ZTE -3700

    PLANS ARE AS FOLLWS-

1.299 rental as u go as u pay

    2.FREEDOM 650 1Gb download (beyond limit Rs2/MB)

    3.FREEDOM 850 1.5Gb (beyond limit Rs2/MB)

    4.FREEDOM @ NIGHT 499 unlimited in night(10pm to 6a.m.) in mrng 6FREEDOM Plans

5.Unlimited within city 1099( Truely Unlimited no FUP)

6.Unlimited within nation 1750 ( Truely Unlimited no FUP)

Note an adolpack of RS199 is available for Unlimited use in night with Freedom plans

why u have written no FUP, from whr u got this info?

    and what is launch date?

  2. Mumbai March 10, 2009, 0:42 IST

    Business Standard

Reliance Communications (RCom) has placed a Rs 300-crore bulk order with two Chinese equipment vendors, Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corporation, for around one million (10 lakh) plug-n-play USB modems.

    Definitely for the EVDO service!

this works out to be Rs300 per device (300core/10lacs).

and reliance is selling it for Rs3500 :Ohhhh:

or might be this is for 1x

because they are also targeting rural wireless internet mkt to break BSNL's monopoly

  3. The wise decision

NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE USING ABOVE 10GB/month

buy device use 2month unlimited plan and then shift to plan 6.

because let u decide in one month period

1)how many times u go out of ur city?

2)if more than 4times then whether that city is EVDO enabed?

3)if yes, is are is evdo enabed?

4)if yes then what is maximum time u spend in that area?

    5)what is surfing time?

6)and DO U REALLY NEED HIGH SPEED DURING THAT SURFING? can't adjust with 144kbps?

so go for 1099city plan, and chage the plan to plan 5 (5GB) for those month when u need roaming.

  4. Huawei Ec 168c

    and

ZTE Ag 1170 Are two models of Reliance EVDO Cards

    and Price - Rs.3500/- + Rs.330/99 for Postpaid/Prepaid GSK Respectively.

Is device provided by relince is Rev A complaitble? i doubt? because it provide same device ZTE acb8710 as in bsnl.

    BSNL - ZTE AC 8700

    Reliance - ZTE AC 8710

which is correct ZTE ag1170 or ACB8710?

u know lot of info then tell us launch date and service name if different from netconnect.

can we have device portability from zte to huwei or aircard(which sadik can sell)

  5. The Plans are Superb but it is costly than Tata but cheaper then BSNL

BSNL EVDO datacard (without voice & restricted mobility) is Rs.550/mth for unlimited as against Rs.1750 for R-CDMA EVDO datacard (without voice & full mobility). So Reliance is Rs.1200 more but has full mobility.

wait for few month BSNL will implement ALL india roaming and best part is that it will work anywhere in coutry and is not restricted to big cities as in case for reliance.

Is device provided by relince is Rev A complaitble? i doubt? because it provide same device ZTE acb8710 as in bsnl.

also bsnl evdo will work in area where thr is NO EVDO coverage, in that case it works with 1X

  6. I am planning to buy a cdma phone to use with tata indicom. I would like a phone which can be used with other cdma operators like reliance too. I am looking for a basic set capable of voice calls and sms. Are there such phones available in open market or even with the out lets of reliance or tata? please suggest.

i have old nokia 2865 which works with all cdma operator. i am ready to sell

or othewise buy virgin vsleek at Rs3200. and flash it

  7. wow good news for reliance CDMA user who tired of poor handset range.

but bad news for player like airtel who will churn to new player.

But as per my view MNP will be boom or very short period like 6month or 1 year,

in this period majority(5000customer/month) of people will shift operator. but after this priod it slows down to say appox 100customer/month.

because in indian telecom every new operator is providing good deals to new customer and not to existing customer.

    let's see what happen?

  8. Customer Care Number for different Cities are differnet.

Its STD Code+30+As many as times 3 so that total should be = 11 with 0 in STD Code.

    For e.g

    UP Ghaziabad have code 0120,

so Customer care number is 0120+30+33333 i.e. 01203033333

Further you can also dial 022-30333333, but mind STD charges will be charged for calling this number from Other operartor.

    this is correct

or try state capital std code+3033333 eg 079-30333333

    or 020-30333333

    or 0484-3033333

    or 18001003333

  9. I have heard from reliable sources that Reliance EVDO will ONLY and ONLY be available on datacards at present because Reliance has got 3G license only for GSM and not for CDMA and it cant operate 3G on both types of cellular services; it will provide on cdma data cards as an isp and not as an cellular service provider; thats BAD NEWS for people with original diamonds from reliance that they have bought for 30K.... they will be as useless as our moguls...

and once and IF EVDO voice mobility is allowed we too will definitely get hacks from our Super Gurus like Hetal...

"it will provide on cdma data cards as an isp " what does this means

  10. FIRST MOVE to MVNO will be BSNL/MTNL.

Because both are had built excellent CDMA netowrk , but service name GARUDA(MTNL) and TARANG(BSNL) is not popular.

So player like Verizon is running good service in USA on cdma technology and is waiting for entry into indian telecom market.

This MVNO term and condition is not attractive but still BSNL was in hurry to generate revenue from it's existing almost unsued CDMA n/w.

So BSNL is keen to lend n/w to mvno and virgin is keen to enter india.

as per expecting mvno to be starting from june/september2009.

Virtually MVNO will take no time to start service soon.

  11. I think TTSL will not provide any tariff under TATA GSM brand.

Instead total spectum will be used by Virgin mobile itself,

because TTSL is developing it's CDMA netwok with world most advance technology operator NTT DoCoMo.

and eventually virgin will exit from cdma.

Expecting 50paise/10paise call rate from virgin mobile.- :)
