in the case of Lg RD 6000, rworld runs on the BREW platform unlike the JAVA platform which is used by the other phones as of now.. so i guess developers will take some time working on the new platform to develop applications.

i dont think u can get rworld for 6225 but you can use the wap 2.0 browser to view wap sites. Why dont you write a review on the phone.

pjthevj, can you tell us about your experience with netway and performance like dload speeds, quality of video and on demand content.. also could you post some screenshots. i dont think the pics were taken by setu_garg.. a slightly bigger version of the pictures is there on an article on the net.

I just came bk from the WW. There was a person from nokia showing all the features though they didn't show working models. He told me it was for rs.9200-9800.. dont remeber exact figure..

what i want to know is, will these nokia phones have r world, and if not, how will we visit regular wap sites.. will activation with reliance automatically add the required settings for the browser? In handset experience, the 6225 doesnt seem to have either r world or services(as seen in gsm nokias to browse websites). So where do we go to browse websites? also what is 'network' in the 6225 menu for?

CC does not have any idea about the cost of the phone but say that it will be out soon.

Yesterday i transferred an mp3pro file to my portable 128mb mp3 player and it worked. As mp3pro saves a lot of space, i want to convert all my mp3s (which i want to transfer to the player) to mp3pro format. The thing is the encoder (thomson demo version) which i have got my hands on, converts only wave files and that too to 64kbps mp3pro (equivelant to 128kbps of the normal mp3 format). If i convert the mp3s (128kbps) to wave using dbpoweramp and then the wave to mp3pro using mp3pro, will the quality of sound be maintained? Also, what type of wave should i convert to (frequency, etc.)? If someone has a better alternative, please do suggest.

i think the nokia phones are quite expensive compared to their gsm models especially a base model like 2112 for 6k.

delhi airtel broadband 512kbps dsl @ rs2450 per month dload limit 2gb dload speed 55KB/s (on an average) customer care service = excellent overall service = excellent though i would like to have unlimited dload if im paying so much.

i think the n-gage is 10k. i want to go 4 the n6255 only bcoz of the bluetooth. i think itll be the 1st cdma phone in india with bluetooth.
