i ported from aircel to TATA CDMA. no call from aircel for reason for porting. but they rejected my porting request for 2 times for no reasons. but third time its got approved. now in TATA CDMA network. good network.

other cdma mobiles of my friends are working fine. only i face this problem. my phone catching signal only in thousand light area and not anywhere. now tata guy adviced me to change sim and see. keeping finger crossed

dear all, i am from chennai and recently portin to tata cdma. my porting is successful. however i could not catch signal in my mobile. the store person told me to thousand light area where i will catch signal and i need to dial *228. i went to that area and activated my number and started making calls. here my problem starts. my mobile could not catch signal once i cross the area. i roamed across chennai where my mobile fails to catch signal. the tatadocomo person also not able to resolve the issue. pl help me in this. i tried factory reset and power reset. however nothing i could change. i tried to convert to gsm of tata but they told me to wait 3 months. regards, Hari

Dear All, after 4 yrs in Singapore i am back to chennai.I am planning to take postpaid connection for my personal use. Before 4 yrs i used reliance cdma which was pioneer that time. I insist to take same cdma postpaid in reliance. However when i go thru the topics here, reliance network has gone down in last few yrs. Pl suggest me so that i can take a decision quickly. in my case its vice versa. i sent sms to aircel number from airtel. but it fails. may be airtel stop outgoing sms to aircel too.

Dear All, Let us review this topic again. Nowadays when we go thru our forum, we can see lot of network issues. Signal prob etc. When we complain to CC also there is no much response. When ever we go to Web world or docomo showroom they prefer to sell GSM products rather than CDMA. No good cdma handsets av bl in showroom itself. When i enquirer my friends working in RCom and Tata, they them self accept the companies are targeting to GSM . only. So what will be the future of CDMA in India? Regards, Hari

i am using this plan more than 8 to 9 months. my last bill i was in roaming for 73 min which is free as per my bill. after ur new thread i confirmed with Senior BSNL Officer of kodambakkam branch. he said it was free for people who taken the connection till nov 10. now its limited.

am using this plan in chennai. its free only bet bsnl to bsnl. they are not deducting any money.

s he is right. you cannot port without changing to your personal name
