Hi.my friend has got a nokia 2255.. About 4 months back he transferred the no from that handset to a ruim.but the reliance guys there forgot to release the rsn.an now its blocked.when he went back to web world now they said the rsn is not there in their database anymore since he has changed the handset more than twice.and he doesn have the box to get the rsn no manually.so as off now the handset's lying dead. So is there any way of reviving the handset?any other way of gettin the rsn number? Pl help soon..

problem solved.thanks to acs bhai..al u've to do is first get the rsn released.then goto web world and get the rsn registered ur name.that'sll do..(try the last step of going to we world only if *228 doesn work evn after the rsn is released).

hey i think u can have a go at palm 800w if u're havin a tata connection.that's a good one too.2mp cam with wifi and gps too

when i send getstat <rsn> i get a msg that it can be activated on postpaid ,prepid blah blah blah... but when i dial a no from the cell with the above rsn it says pl contact reliance customer care for continuation of service

my friend who has a ppc 6700(does not have a ruim slot) recently shifted from the tata network to reliance.in order to get his no transferred to his ppc ,he went to web world and asked to register the esn under his number bu they 're not agreein to do so citing some vague reasons.can anyone residing in mumbai help him?some one mite be havin contacts in reliance??

hey guys..no answer to my question??today the reliance guys called up and said that the rsn no has been de provisioned an hence can never be used.is it true that a de provisioned rsn no cannot be activated again??

does it have an integrated openwave browser like the one's u get in other samsung phones released by tata or reliance??

My problem finally got solved. But had to spend 1800 bucks for it..the display had gone off too. So had to spend for that too.

Hey i think 800w isn workin on reliance yet..but mogul and touch are good options.

if the rsn is lost then how can we retrieve it?because reliance keeks only the present rsn and rsn previous to that.so anyway of retrieving the rsn from a cell.actually i got a nokia 2255 who's rsn is blocked.what happened is my friend was using it and later he got the no transferred to a sim..but the reliance personnel didn release the rsn and now even they don have the rsn.so the handset's lying dead.any way of reviving it?

ya that's rite..finally it comes down to one's personnel choice..i think according to ur preferences 6275's the best choice. u may even find some 6275 in this forum's buy sell section or on eBay which are still under warranty

so can i use one on tata?what might be the price(approx)?

today i wnt to national market in bangalore.they said the phone was dead(even though it was workin perfectly except for the display)and asked me to sell it to tham for 1000 bucks.i quickly retraced my steps after hearing that.

let me try that option of going to nokia care too.

he tried by replacing both the display and the strip.but he said that neither worked.i don mind sendin the phone to u sadikk if u can help

Only thing is they have not bothered to upgrade it since last 5 years, hence bit out of date for browser and UI. But at the same time its greatness surely because of simple yet most effective UI, I hvae ever seen. Palm is seeing is beliving sort of OS. are you still sellin ur palm?wats its price?
