Guys y don u check out the bad e*n handsets on ebay. Look out for sealed pieces.. I saw two touch's being sold for 150 $.. And a diamond for 220 $. U can ask prawin Bhai to bid and ship it to india and later u can collect it from his place in india or get it shipped..

no point buying 3G nokia handsets from US ....firstly they work on nam frequencies for 3G ....so as and when 3G will b launched in india it wont work on these nokia handsets ..... nokia 7610 however is a non 3G PHONE .. unlocking nokia phones is not an issue though ....its very easy and can b done even by u also from my experience with nokia handsets it is always better to get nokia handsets with warranty .... i support ur theory of warrantied nokia handsets .gsm handsets can be happily bought it india itself since they're readily available sooner or later.. Its better to import only cdma handsets whic won see the light of the day in india.

But there're no details about the os and pricing. Atleast they should keep the price at 10k.

Leave alone newbies, as this itself seems far technical in nature.. i agree with u.most of the newbies'll surely take time to understand this thread.. Only thing that Nokia 6275 has very avg. battery backup. Half the CDMA batteries nowadays are sub-standard of nokia. the best thing is to buy a battery ie bl 6c from ebay. Some guys are sellin it for a cheap price and with warranty too. I bought one and its still workin fine
