  1. Software looks cool, and identifies my phone too. But am getting error while opening the database. Am attaching the snapshot, as well the error details. As it is not able to open the database, nothing works after that. I have WinXpSP2 and Office 2007. I also have .NET Framework 1.1 as well as 2.0 installed. Please let me know what might be going wrong in here. And thanks for developing a software and distributing it for free. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. at System.DateTimeParse.Parse(String s, DateTimeFormatInfo dtfi, DateTimeStyles styles) at System.DateTime.Parse(String s, IFormatProvider provider) at System.Data.ConstNode..ctor(DataTable table, ValueType type, Object constant, Boolean fParseQuotes) at System.Data.ExpressionParser.Parse() at System.Data.DataExpression..ctor(DataTable table, String expression, Type type) at System.Data.DataView.set_RowFilter(String value) at System.Data.DataView.System.ComponentModel.IBindingListView.set_Filter(String value) at System.Windows.Forms.BindingSource.set_InnerListFilter(String value) at System.Windows.Forms.BindingSource.SetList(IList list, Boolean metaDataChanged, Boolean applySortAndFilter) at System.Windows.Forms.BindingSource.ResetList() at System.Windows.Forms.BindingSource.set_DataSource(Object value) at HPSMS.SMSForm.RefreshData() at HPSMS.SMSForm.OpenData() at HPSMS.SMSForm.btnBrowse_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- HPSMS-Server Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files/HPTrade/HPSMS-Server/HPSMS-Server.exe ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.VisualBasic/8.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Runtime.Remoting/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Runtime.Remoting.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Data Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_32/System.Data/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Data.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Transactions Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_32/System.Transactions/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Transactions.dll ---------------------------------------- System.EnterpriseServices Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/assembly/GAC_32/System.EnterpriseServices/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.EnterpriseServices.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. 2. Some Doubts Regarding to RAM

These days most of the movies that one downloads from th net increasingly use complex compression algorithms, and a home PC too requires good RAM. I would suggest a minimum of 512MB RAM.
  3. Cost Of Replacing Damaged Laptop Screen ?

One of the connector wires on the RJ-45 (ethernet) port of my laptop (Compaq 2136 AP) broke yesterday. Can anyone suggest a good repair shop in Mumbai, and how much it might cost me? @prathod: Does Suresh takes this kind of repair too? as sakinaka is not too faraway from my place I can easily visit his office.
  4. Some Doubts Regarding to RAM

Having an extra RAM will surly help you. Just make sure the new RAM is compatible with the old one - sometimes non-compatibility will lead to frequent OS crashes. In fact, purchase new RAM from a known vendor, and with pre-condition that you will pay only if the RAM works fine.
  5. @city02: Well said mate !!! BTW, move this thread to General chat, I do nto think this belongs in here, and I do not moderate this sub-forum.
  6. New Pda Phone

    Closing Topic.
  7. Rimweb Meet @ Guru

I might. My participation is subject to the location and time of the meet as am bound by a fixed experimental schedule in my Lab, and have to adjust everything accordingly.
  8. AT Commands & SMS Software

    I have a 6235/USB Data cable
  9. Worried Users Of Nokia 6265

You should rather swear at Nokia for not developing a s60 phone for CDMA, and for pricing too. And please do not post the same message in more than one thread.
  10. IITs not only do research for the sake of it but also intend to develop low-cost solutions for practical problems. SIDBI funded incubator at IIT Kanpur is one such facility. What Manish might be looking at the is a low-cost commercial solution to be developed at his start-up. Most of the incubators want a detailed techno-commercial proposal before they fund the project, and Manish seems to be searching resources for his proposal. He might not be interested in detailing out his complete idea for sake of preserving it with him till the time he gets funding. And how do we know that he has not approached any other source of information? There is no use in being paranoid at each and every instance. It is like this - a person asks how can he shift his phone from Reliance to TATA and we just start blaming him for cloning. A person asking for a technology doesn't always means he intends to use it for illegal purposes.
  11. ^^^^ Right said, gavnit. Reliance numbers are not toll-free, for a number to be toll-free it has to be in the a special series as per the the national Numbering Plan (and can start only with 1). What Reliance provides is the benefit of calling a local landline number anywhere in India to the consumers, and the call from all such numbers are forwarded to the national call-center of the agency.
  12. Anyway To Access Wap On Nokia 6255

^^^ Maybe. Technical specifications of 6235 are almost similar to 6155/6265 as far as the WAP is concerned, still WAP works on 6155 and doesn't works on 6265, and that was the only possible reason that came to my mind.
  13. Anyway To Access Wap On Nokia 6255

I tried with copying the 6155 settings to 6235, didn't work. My guess is that Reliance authenticates/allows access to WAP based on your handset as per their records.
  14. Share ur RIM Numbers...

No comments, apart from the post started in the wrong section, I'll have to move it to General Chat.
  15. Rs 100 Sms Top Up Card

OFF-TOPIC If that was the case, how would the service industry survive? If service cannot be charged at a premium - I guess no one would go for starred hotels, and what about the cool-cabs etc etc etc. Service can always be charged at a premium, if the person getting served is ready to pay for it.
  16. Rconnect Unlimited Internet

But the unlimited plans are not available to new customers of Mobile/FWP services. One has to necessarily go for the data cards to get the unlimited plan. And that is a big handicap.
  17. FM On Rworld

The link is not using WAP, but the streaming media (video/audio) functionality of the Nokia handsets. Live TV (Aajtak/NDTC etc has been running of this for ages now @ Rs 15/launch.)
  18. Best Phone In Nokia For Reliance ?

Moto Razr is not RUIM (T-SIM) enabled.
  19. Regarding Rsn Number...

None of the ESN is wrong. prathod gave it in decimal format and you used the Hexadecimal format. eg: 3CE115E4 is same as 1021384164
  20. I guess deck is cleared for launch of BIG 92.7 FM in Mumbai too, but by then I would be tuning in to 94.3.
  21. Regarding Rsn Number...

Anytime, mate!!! Not only me, all the Admins and Mods at RIMweb.in take that kind of care. It just happened that in case of your post, I was the first one to log in.
  22. Regarding Rsn Number...

If that was the case, you should have PMed the Mods/Admins first, and I would not have edited your post
  23. Who said I was hurt? I forgot the smilies in hurry
  24. I think you do not read my posts where I talk about deterioration of services since Junior Ambani took over. Anyway, when we have to live with such companies I guess its better to look at the brighter side. @gavnit: Please please forward this to ADA and ask him to make some payments to me.
  25. The card sure sounds good. I currently use Citi-Shoppers Stop card, and I can redeem my points directly at any of the SS, similarly, if I can use the points to pay my bills at Reliance, I guess this is going to be a winner.
