Reliance had asked for the spectrum in 1900 MHz range, and as per the NFAP, 1900 MHz band is not marked for 3G. The band is the bone of contention between the CDMA and GSM players, and the govt is still undecided what to do. As per the reports if Reliance requests for spectrum in 800 MHz range for EVDO testing, its request might be considered.

Hi! I have a Tata Indicom BB connection (ethernet based) at my home, and have been facing a peculiar problem for the past few days. The machine is dual boot (WinXP and Suse 10.1), if I logon to windows, I get the message the IP is currently in use on the network - and am unable to use the internet. However, if I boot into Suse, everything works fine. The network settings in both OSs are exactly the same. This has led me to believe that windows is the cause of the problem. Any ideas on how to get the net working on windows?

Its static IP on windows and Linux. I do not have DHCP in my area. Anyway, it started working sometime in the afternoon yesterday.

Delight plans were launched as replacement plans for DAPO customers, and the mailers that we had received did mention Rs 160 worth of talk time. RIO299 + Onnet SMS pack = Rs 349, no free talk time Delight 399 = Rs 399, Rs 160 worth of free talk time I guess delight plans are always better. You get Rs 160 worth of talk time by paying just 50 bucks extra.

Breakeven call time is 140 mins (for celebration 299).

Only 900 and 1800, not 1900.
