Now here’some more assumption about the directories of the Rworld. The url with these address http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/RWorld/html, constitute, the html pages of all the application(but not like the working application – (like the SMS from web to RIM) of Rworld . For example - http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/RWorld/html...haang_home.html - Gives related help info about the panchaang. These directories are just about the html pages. Coming back to the real working applications of rworld on this site, would most probably ( I am damn sure about this one) would be featured on http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/webapp/RWorld/ directory and the proof is the sms application. If I am not mistaken, Reliance, is about to launch all the application (I mean the working as in RWORLD of handset) under this directory, I mean the working application on the net, Like MMS, Bill payment. What my point is – that this is the directory where you can expect many more applications will be featured. I know just 100 Indians + some people from DAKC would know about the sms application. But I don’t exactly know how this was found by our rimweb member. Any ways great work by him. So I reqest you people to have a close look into the webapp directory, as something new would be launched, and we can access it even before, its launched. Like the SMS one, as I told no body knows about it, its still in testing I belive. I just happened to visit the images directory, and guess what I found, they are already designing the web version of MMS, and the proof, some of the images that’s been created.

And here comes the first Hole that could be Exploited on Windows Vista. So much for the secure Windows thing. I recorded a sound file that would engage speech command on Vista, then engaged the start button, and then I asked for the command prompt. When I played back the sound file with the speakers turned up loud, it actually engaged the speech command system and fired up the start menu. I had to try a few more times to get the audio recording quality high enough to get the exact commands I wanted but the shocking thing is that it worked! Anyone that's ever visited MySpace knows how many annoying webpages out there that will start blasting loud MP3 music as soon as they enter the page. [update 4:17PM - Someone asked me how loud I had the speakers. To my surprise, not very loud at all and I was shocked at how well it worked. I didn't even believe it would work at the loudest setting let alone at a moderate sound level.] Read more

Check this link out. http://www.download.com/Personal-File-Serv...tml?tag=lst-0-3 Its Deatails are given Below. Personal File Server is web based software that allows website visitors to download and upload files using only their favorite browser. It is a very extensible solution in sharing audio/video files, documents or any other file type with ease. Files can be shared with colleagues and friends on a network, intranet or internet without needing any 3rd party software or a browser plug-in. It is also a very robust solution for customized user management with permissions. Personal File Server includes many built-in features including a customizable port based HTTP server, visitors and user authentication system, password protection of directories and files, ban management system, client and session based bandwidth control, session status, files and folders virtual files system, user limits, session limits and router tunneling support. It is much easier to setup and easier to control then any standard or advanced ftp server. It also takes complete logs of user access with session. But the software costs $ 35 . I know its a Pinch for us indians. But i think it would be better if you can Host your file server by website say like Php or asp, that gives you control over what you want. PHP with Mysql will be the best option, check this website out http://www.opensourcecms.com/. it has many free portal system (php and Mysql) and forum systems for free. Click on CMS Demos Menu on the left of this website to check for all the application.

For the record, Reliance uses a CRM called Clarify. Reliance had bought the source code of it, for $ 3 Million, from Nortel. Now Clarify is bought by Ominidocs. And it was reenginered and programmed, with New modules, as to suit its own (reliance) need.

Still waiting for the implementation of GIS by Reliance Infocomm. Just before launch of Reliance India Mobile, there was a group in DAKC, which were developing GIS. They are still there in DAKC, the group, cut down in Number.

Clarify – CRM used By Reliance - PART 1 Reliance India Mobile uses Clarify E-front office as its CRM, yes you guessed that right a tool, where each and every detail of the customer is Recorded. Clarify belongs to Amdocs now. There is a piece of information here, which I think is just a rumor, that Reliance had bought the code for Clarify (for some millions) and now that they have designed there own CRM, upon that, to suit their needs. Everytime you call up *333, the details are verified and edited in Clarify’s ClearCallCenter, by the agent at the call centre. Now ClearCallCenter, is a very powerful tool, it just doesn’t provide the Agent with all your Details. But also gives them right to alter your services. I mean that all your services could be activated and deactivated and even Tweaked by the Agents, if given the Rights by the Admin. For instance When Reliance had first started, The Services it hadn’t got the NLD and ILD services, so there was a lengthy process of sending a fax letter to RIM, asking them to activate the NLD at the Security Payment of 1000 rs for NLD and 2000 for ILD. But this was really very Hectic. So Reliance had configured Clarify to give Rights to the Agents to Activate the NLD at the cmr’s Request. So all they did was Press on the Activate the NLD Button, and SMS was sent to cmr in about Two hrs time, about the activation. The same was applicable for value added services, such as SMS, Voice Mail, Call Forward, each and every service you were Assigned was there in ClearCallCenter to be viewed and altered and tweaked. In the end it all comes down to something that makes Sense More To come ……… Just check out the Image to have a Better Picture of the CRM.

First of all Reliance SMS Application is awesome, three cheers for the one who found it even though this is not official. Does anybody knows, where the connection is made ( i mean the server which is connected to the portal to send the SMS), as you might guess, this is yet not official, so the person who is still developing has left a glitch. A glitch to a small world. It will reveal the code to this application. Well i think i have the answer to this. The script is mainly in .js (Java Script ), the script which is very powerfull, but in this case, that is what is helping in logging in, validating the rim numbers, and most Importantly the connections part (Ummmh sounds interesting isn’t it) So when you enter this url http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/webapp/RWor...r?event=COMPOSE. you get the compose screen, if you have logged in. so what if you entered http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/webapp/RWorld/sms/, this by mistake. Holy Crap, looks, like the Guy who is testing this application, has left the directory browsing on. So all you can see is the files and folders, which constitutes this appl. and even the dates, when this application was tested and the dates of recent changes. and check out the scripts folder, that’s the gold mine if you are searching for the server address and how its authenticated. If you are a programmer or good in scripting, you can download all the .js file, open in the notepad and see the code. Voila' you can stumble upon the connection part of the program, which might help users to create their own application, and host it on their own website. And the rest you can do it yourself. Let me know what you get out of it. Krinish
