u can see an icon in the system tray after connected to net. single-click or double-click on it, and goto "Details" tab (in Windows XP) u can see here Server IP address. then ping using this IP address. Thats it! hi there... i got you point but as i am a novoice please let me know the procedure of pinging from the start so that it will help not only me but other fellow who are new to pinging

please go the setting option of the netconnect dialer and check whether you have entered your username and password i.e your connection number ..please check

i own a zte MG880 usb modem..when i load the windows xp sp 2 and when i double click on the icon "zte cdma 1x modem" on desktop, the error pops up saying "please remove the "UIM" and try again. the error window automatically closes and when i try again to open the dialer it opens and works perfectly fine..it always happen when i try to open the dailer...please advice whether its the modem fault or something else bye

my dear your are right ..its not hanset problem..even i face the same problem ..i own four rim nos. and one of my hanset is moto..when i am in my residence i face this problem and when i go to kalyan or ulhasnagar i dont face such issue..its network problem and though the phone shows full network its the congestion that is creating the whole problem..it wont be sorted out unless relliance sets up extra base station in the problematic area ..please keep complaining about this on regular basis..coz network department wont believe your words for first time..they should know that such problem exists

can any give information whether prepaid customer with lifetime validity can surf through rconnect

thanks buddy for information i own a lg rd 2130 with prepaid connection..i dont have lifetime validity..but since i bought usb modem i want my phone no to be converted into lifetime validity or recharge with 404 with 1 yr validity bcoz i dont want to spend much on my phone bills please advice
