  3. the link for the china telecom rom for zte n919d http://www.ztedevice.com.cn/support/smart_phone/c474eaa1-c3de-473a-9339-5ba8738dfced.html also if anybody has zte n919d mts build05 already installed please make a complete image backup using tools such as qxdm or cdma workshop and share it on google drive or some place, before you try out this rom .Zte has not published this rom on the net.preferably an update.zip kind can be made
  4. hi which utility did you use for nvm edit?.i think my cdma radio needs some rf caliberation i used dfs for reading nv but i doubt whether it writes back values without spc finding spc is quite a task can anyone elaborate on spc for zte?
  5. the chinese rom build for the zte n919d is CT_CN_N919DV1.0.0B15.My handset also had got locked earlier. This rom has several additional features like selecting the sim card slots as master etc .2g edge also works on vodafone sim.The condition is you have to put the second sim as the primary sim and the cdma uim as secondary sim. after that you have to disable cdma uim .It also updates prl on its own and there are new settings such as global roaming settings.I havent checked evdo signals since i cut my card for a microsim and right now i dont have a full size evdo enabled normal sim.but i guess it should work without problems since we can also add new apns as per our requirement.but i could make normal voice calls with an old cdma sim which i had with me .my guess is that even the primary cdma slot if enabled for global mode has h+ and also lte i tried with vodafone but it showed a network lock.so probably a china telecom 3g sim card works in the first slot.If this slot is unlocked then this phone wil truly be versatile .root it with framaroot and install amazon app store for downloads.
  6. for people who have upgraded thier handsets to mts locked ones .there is a solution .goto zte devices .com and select china for downloads.in the dropdown list you can see zte n919d and zte n818 also .download the chinese rom on to pc .copy that to the root directory of sd card of your phone.restart your phone with vol up and power switch pressed simultaneously .in the options menu select update from external sd card and update your phone with the update.zip.the chinese rom is pretty open for all uim cards and gsm cards. then only problem is playstore from google is not installed.it has to be done manually.the option to use english is there for the os. if anybody has a solution to install google playstore please update for mts blaze 5 and 4.5 with chinese rom
  7. New Motorola Handsets On Tata

Today, Motorola and Tata Teleservices have inked an open distribution agreement to offer consumers Motorola's latest CDMA mobile phones. As per terms of the agreement, the Motofone F3C, the Radiomoto W210, and the Radiomoto W170 will be available through Tata Indicom's country wide distribution network. Marrying style with robust features, the Radiomoto W210 has a striking two tone appearance, and comes with colorful wallpaper options. The handset incorporates built in stereo FM radio and Motorola's Lantern feature for illumination in darker environs. Whereas, the Radiomoto W170 is again a CDMA phone about 14.6mm thick, and featuring 32-level polyphonic sound, up to 500 phonebook entries, SMS, and a high quality speakerphone. Meanwhile, the Motofone F3C is based on Motorola's new SCPL design platform, and features a speakerphone, 32-level polyphonic ringtones, plus preloaded local Bollywood ringtones. The phone has an intuitive new interface built with icons and voice versus text, as well as voice prompts tailored to local markets. It is easier to use outdoors because of its large, high contrast screen powered by a ClearVision display. Speaking at the event, Malcolm Dawe, Vice President & General Manager of Motorola India Mobile Devices, said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Tata Teleservices to offer Motorola's stylish, CDMA portfolio to Indian consumers. Through this alliance, we will complement each others' strengths to offer consumers a complete value proposition - a wide choice with 'style', sleek sophistication, enhanced features, and excellent quality of service." Darryl Green, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Teleservices, said, "Value, choice, and convenience have been the hallmark of all Tata Indicom's offerings. The agreement with Motorola for an open distribution pact is an initiative that will further enable us to offer our consumers the exciting portfolio of cutting edge mobile devices from Motorola." The Motofone F3C comes for Rs 1,699; the Radiomoto W170 for Rs 2,399; and the Radiomoto W210 for Rs 2,849. All handsets come with the GO XTRA PACK, which will enable customers to avail double the talk time for the first six months, with bonus talk time valid for 1 year from the date of activation. The scheme will also offer free incoming calls for the first six months without recharge.
