hetal thanks for this push mail.. it works well but i need it for hotmail and yahoo..and i realised it doesnt work for them thru mail2web.. its a stand alone mail id.. like having a new mail.. as far as hotmail goes it can only be configured thru windows live which seems to be working ok.. but can only show 5000 words.. but its ok.. hotmail can t be configured for pop or imap to anyother mail... they want u to only access ur mail thru their inbox for obvious purposes... yahoo does allow an pop3 acsess but its yahoo mail plus which is a premium service and u need to pay for that yearly.. can u tell me how to acsess push mail for hotmail.. i mean the settings like u gave for mail2web.. as far as yahoo goes the only succesful way seems thru yahoo go which seems to be working good for me.. but for all these things u need to click on 3 services.. windows live.. yahoo go and active sync.. which means these run on ur ppc all the time or most of the time.. do find sumway of integrating these with activesync.. thanks..

for the white screen problem hope it gets sorted out soon.. i m sure it is prob a software problem.. sum display driver corrupted or sumthing.. i think all guys who had this problem shd try to remember what all was installed iin their ppc make a list.. and post it.. with their versions of aku s.. and details like when they saw it again.. coz it does try to start itself and u can reciever the calls.. too.. so prob the display.. like it happens in windows.. do u mean that u had reflashed it successfully and even after that the problem persisted? even though u cudnt go past the screen alignment. thing..? as far as the over heating goes? i dunno if that is the thing ..coz these things r meant to keep working on n on n on.. they dont even have a switch off button.. i hope it wasnt coz of the x scaler of sumthing.. ? did u guys over clock it for long before this happened.. do try to log all ur programs in a file.. so people studying it can try to identify common conflict programs or sumthing like that..

hetal u had added the new streaming player to see u tube and yahoo videos in the latest aku.. but it doesnt open them.. i get a msg u dont have the latest flash player so download it.. and then it says it isnt available for ur phone.. do i need to open the link from within the streaming player? then i ll need to type or paste a url? isnt there a way to install a version of flash player or sumthing for those videos...inside internet explorer.. also i read sumwhere that u can change sum registry to make our internet explorer look like ie 6 coz many sites then only show up all content.. but then the forum says it shdnt be done coz then the mobile brower friendly sites dont give u faster and appropriate data.. and it messes up other things...maybee we need sum other browser. can u suggest sumthing which can be used for secure banking sites so one can acsess those too.. coz now the bank sites wont accept our browser.. as they only accept ie6 and higher.. i think we need all need a full working latest browser which can open multiple sites and give full html content.. opera mobile is available till a few months or sumthing... i think maybee the new windows has a latest browser.. maybee u can get it from sumwhere .. thanks

i dont agree with you.. rom makes a hell of a difference in the phone.. initially i had a 1.05 rom and i had major problems with my ph.. the other person cuodnt hear me when i called but when they called it was ok.. after getting the new 1.27 and 3.5.4 everything became damn improved.. so sumtimes it probably does sumthing weird at times.. hangs with sum application or sumthing.. just reload it or change ur rom.. maybee it has sumthing to do with the operating system than radio.. u can try 1.41 radio.. btw i have had a few problems with 3.5.4c too. nothing major.. a couple of screen hang ups esp phone dialer .. i think 3.5.4a was more stable prob.. but these minor problems will keep on occuring in most roms prob.. but over all the ph is working pretty good.. so keep trying coz if it was working properly before it ll prob work properly sooner or later..

yes same error for me on trying to install only the radio 1.41... country ID error and the rom isnt designed for ur set.. wonder if its sumthing to do with verizon sets? or maybee sum internal setting of the ph gives it a country which isnt conpatible.. btw i have 3.5A with 1.27 installed.. tried it 3 times.. even tried the gauravs version... same problem there.. hope the experts figure it out.. as sum people say its working good for them... thanks..

hi hetal any progress on this thing? i configured windows live properly but it shows only the msg contents like i said.. no attachments.. the instant messenger works good..msn messenger.. it syncs fast enough.. then i installed yahoo go 1.0 too.. and it works even better with the mail.. i wasnt able to add the pop servers or smtp servers with outlookbefore.. but this yahoo go fixed it and made a cool account.. i can easily download the attachments even from the mail.. it syncs pretty good from yahoo.. but one has to be careful to check download attachments to memory card.. now u figure out sum way to disconnect these yahoo and msn programs or time them every hour.. they do have these settings but i think our relweb world wont auto discconnect ..that wud waste battery and also the ph might not wake up when it is in sleep mode and also u might get a busy signal if it syncs to often.. if u can do that then we can have our own push mail.. now only google is left and if that is done too then we ll have all major services on our ppc.. in yahoo go 1.0 the yahoo messenger isnt working ..it links to the wap yahoo mobile site.. also both these programs add ur email contacts to ur phone contacts which is a nuisance.. u can check on see only friends in the contacts provided u have added all ur phne book contacts as friends or personal options.. msn does this if u log into msn messenger(add ur msn list in messenger and mail to ur outlook contacts).. yahoo doesnt allow u to uncheck the options like photos contack book so u can just get ur mail.. try sorting out these issues..if u get time.. or maybee u have the msn pushmail crack? hope to see sum info on this.. thanks for ur efforts...

hi ravish thanks a ton... back home today and did what u told and yayy it works great... now tell me the same thing is going to work in hot spots too?or do i need to change any setting? now my ppc is fully functional man it opens the web page faster than the comp lol... now waiting for the latest rom.. and thanks sadik too now its working...

hi hetal I have ur 3.5a installed. just set up windows live. it is working good. can see my email but not the attachments. download is greyed. I think they do not allow to read more than 5000 words. this facility is only available in wm6. can u tell me if it can be syncronised thru outlook coz I read even that is a payed service. there r sum 3rd party pop servers but most r paid. is this push mail paid? do refer sum method to syncronise my mobile outlook with hotmail ,gmail( this I heard is the only one free ) and also yahoo. can't find yahoo go 1 anywhere. yahoo2 isn't available for 6700 and they don't send u a sms on ur ph. so please find solutions to make a push mail workaround for these mails. please tell me the pop incoming, outgoing and domain settings for all or any of these 3. yahoo go wud be best. thanks. ps now all services want ur phone no to register u.

there is a registry tweak which im sure most are aware of it changes the value from 3 to 5.. of a particular string..but it wont make a dramatic difference .but i can hear the person damn good normally. so maybee it has sumthing to do with ur volume settings..but hetal has already incorporated this tweakin his 3.5.4A .. i think maybee also in 3.5.1 too but im not sure..u can search for it sumwhere in hetals 3.5.4a the other way is to get a hands free..its a known issue in this ph..the volume thing .. but the hands free makes it very good and loud.. i just got a motorola handsfree.. and its damn good.. esp for music the bass effect and all.. no other handsfree was working as i tried many.. cost me 500..

hey everybody guess wht am posting from relmob wrld wow. is server ko bhi tabhi band hona tha lol. so its working now though it gives ascess denied for many sites. but this is good . tell me bout sum working I'm programs. wifi still not working. yes tanveer it was me. and wifi shd work at hotspots?

another help needed..cant log onto wi-fi at home.. even though it see s the wi-fi connection.. tell me the settings if any needed to be put in.. am using an adsl wireless router from mtnl..and the laptop works good with it. thanks..

hi guys.. thanks again to hetal and sadik.. the problem of the voice not being heard disapeared since i installed 3.5.4A today.. i guess it had to do with the radio 1.27 as my version was 1.05 which sumhow got there accidentally.. or i dunno how. ever since the new install its running fine.. faster.. no hanging either.. so its all good.. i still havnt been able to connect to r world or net connect or surf thru opera mobile +since the install so help me on this one hetal.. ur password n #777 r all there i even tried making a new connection thinking the old one might have been corrupted but it keeps giving the remote party disconneted.. and opera mobile says connection closed by remote server..in fact just now it connected once and i cud see the whole yahoo page but then it disconnected.. now it shows dns error.. btw the 2 arrows next to the connection settings were there suggesting the dialing was ok.. now it says in opera cud not establish connection check ur network settings.. i guess part of the problem is it doesnt connect properly like its busy or sumthing.. but the ph shows 4 signal bars so signal strength is perfect as my calling is good.. and it did connect once so maybee sum setting are wrong or reliance isnt encouraging this kind of service.. please help as this opera surfing is one of the main advantages of this phone.. im sure i need sum settings or sumthing to be tweaked.. another thing hetal.. i cant see the keypad or screen lock icon in this new screen.. i can find it if i go into the menus.. but its too long.. like the earlier version had a lock phone(not the password one, just key locking to prevent accidental calling in the pouch\pocket) on the screen which was easily acsessible..any shortcut or sumthing i may be missing.. i know the powe button locks the whole phone but then it can be accidentally pressing in the pouch or pocket too.. so need a double guard.. thanks.. really appreciate the way things go on in this forum .. its much more advanced than the reliance customer care service..lol.. its like a new mobile service.. sad-het mobile service..

hi everyone.. got my new 6700 yesterday.from mumbai. thanks to u all.. i think it has a 3.5.1 aku..on it.. it has this problem that every few calls randomly the other person cant hear me at all.. happens on outgoing only.and im sure its sum problem on my side coz if i redial they hear me clear.. so is the new 3.5.4A going to help at all.. need sum help on this soon as id want the phone part to function properly 1st.. without the other person screaming for me..
