thanks but that much have been coz of NUC charges? a friend of mine had 5k bill coz of netconnect . haha. and he went to court.to reverse that. any software counter where u can check the data used on android? so NUC is not charged in L1 i hope?

can someone one please confirm if using this plan i can use no proxy internet like 3rd party softwares for e mail, google maps fb etc? or will this just give me surfing on browser? i guess ill have to take a 99 or 199 plan for 200 mb with this or default 1 Re /mb? plus the NUC which i wont be charged as i have L1 in which there are no NUC charges? thanks.

called CC they said for L1 plan there are no network usage charges.so 99 would mean unlimited. but they will not give any new L1 plans. any one has an L1 plan which is working without NUC? please comfirm because i heard before that L1 doesnt work anymore. the CC said u can only browse thru R word which i think is a proxy server.

it keeps saying the file is corrupted. i downloaded the self extracting file and then that file installs many things on a temp folder out of which we have to copy the INDP.nap file to the phones maps folder. the error comes after its selfextracting that file midways. have tried downloading 2 times. is it working for you? can i get that INDP.map file somewhere? thanks

downloaded 2 times. with download manager only .. not possible without that. both times it says Extracting maps\ExtraFeaturePaks\INDP.zip CRC failed in maps\ExtraFeaturePaks\INDP.zip The file "???" header is corrupt on the computer

root is possible on .7 also. i was able to do it with the one step root. and have loaded the nfx .7 rom . its working fine. but it has all the sprint bloatware in it.

no i loaded a 2.2 for a friend. i have stock 2.1 with .7 update which seems to have taken care of the lag. havnt tried proxy at all.

how to use 2 different mobile internet connections in andriod? like it was possible in windows mobile. can it be done thru phone? or every time to do it i have to get to qspt? like if i want t o switch between them or change settings. and add proxy ones..

so ru able to connect to google server on 2.2 (htc hero). i still have no luck in doing so. even by hard reset and logging first time.. yes i loaded a 2.2 rom and synced it via google server and that too after ignoring it once. but only through wifi. and not thru the mobile data coz it wasnt set up. it was froyo 2.2 blue version 14th sept or something one.

why did u chage the user name password? do u use ur phone number as username password or uts@reli... etc? my L1 plan with uts username and 14 etc passwrd isnt working. what plan will u pay for the internet? 25 pm or 60p per minute usage? if there is some new passwrd msg it to me please, thanks

i think u had to add ur account immediatly as u saw the 1st prompt. u probably waited? incase u did do a hard reset and then as soon as the 1st prompt comes add ur google account. data still not working.. not even in gurgaon. a used a friends 6275 and tried his r world and it was working. does this mean they have blocked no proxy use of data? tanveer , tarun? any luck with data on mobile world? with no proxy?

ok so its just not my phone then. i was thinking of resetting it. so i will wait then. do u guys mean even the proxy settings are not working? so u cant access r-world or surf thru it? i know these things happen sometimes in a few months and get sorted out on its own. but not more than or 2. now its the 3rd day.

i think so i read it somewhere and loaded a 2.2 froyo for a friend .. coudnt go into that mode either. so go back to ur stock rom change the settings and get back to this. i read that the diagnostic settings dont work for non sprint roms or something. thought it does work on the 2.1 official rom. i coudnt understand that part. btw my mobile internet on no proxy isnt working since yesterday on the hero. L1 plan. anyone from delhi can confirm if its the network down or something else.. it was working fine since the last 6-7 months. is there any way to add 2 connections to this like we did on a WM so we can atleast check if the proxy version is working and switch between them? can someone suggest me a good battery stable rom with lots of free ram? im on 2.1.1 now and still havnt rooted. i read that most benchmark tests show that most roms work almost equally so is it worth to go to any newer ones?

I know those two methods actually.. My question was a little different.. There are mobile internet plans in Rworld. I can access Rworld and I can also subscribe to the Mobile Internet Plans. The only issue I only get billed for the 50p per MB scheme a few times. The rest of the time I am billed according to 5p for 10kb. I am not pretty sure how i can get billed exclusively according to 50p per MB scheme. I hope I am being myself clear and making my point as less obscure as possible. I use proxy settings. With or without proxy setting I get billed for 5p per 10kb which i am not interested in. And I know for sure it is possible to get billed according to the mobile internet plans but don't know just how. i think when u download something u will be billed at 50p /mb but when u surf a website then it will be 5p/10kb, using ur phone based programs to get mail etc also goes to the download quota maybe but not sure. the customer care guy said that downloads will go to the mb limit quota and surfing will be charged at nuc plus the kb used on each page. this is very confusing and a person who takes any plan simply cannot calculate how much he will eventually pay. it will be Rs5/mb NUC in addition to the amount u use from your quota or 50p/mb. i am still trying to figure this out as i understand the idiot sitting at CC doesnt even know for sure what he is saying. are u sure u get billed the NUC without proxy also? please confirm this as i was thinking if u disable proxy u wont be charged the NUC?

does it work for the rs 99 plan 300 mb too? on cdma androids? how can we create 2 connections.. with /without proxy in android like was possible for winmobile and use either one when required. eg for r world.? not sure where i shd post this.. in programming or here.

no ur pri is ok mine is also 2.20_003 prl is old reliance one as mufaddal had said 00001 software number 2.27.651.5 browser webkit 3.1 yes radio updates with 2.1 coz it said radio updating as well. battery life is ok too.. similar as before. Can u give me your setting of QPST.,. i cannot mail the qspt setting as i told u , it contains esn and all information which cannot be shared. but as i said i can try to help u check the settings..if there is any way then suggest.

not having any issues with data or calls after 2.1 update thru ruu. i wasnt rooted before.was on stock 1.5 which came on phone. if anyone wants to know my settings thru qspt can msg me.was thinking of sharing that saved file thru qspt but it has the esn and all that. i didnt change anything when i updated and it worked right away. if someone is goingto do upgrade after hearing all this then make a backup before u update and then load it from the file in qspt.
