When my Idea Sim was about to expire in march this year I got 2 offers via SMS 1. Recharge with RS. 198/- get Rs. 100 talk time validity life time, all calls At Rs. 1/- for life time 2. Recharge with Rs. 199/- get Rs. 100 talktime validty 2 years I opted for the second one as, I was not sure whether Value Vouchers would work on the life time option to bring call rates down, further this was my second phone and Iam not sure how long I will continue with it.

For my Dad who is 73 years old I narrowed down to two choices 1. Nokia 1650, has all the requirements needed, good looks, but poor keypads and ring tone volume too low Rs. 1950/- 2. Samsung guru 100, big fonts, extremely good ring tone volume, Average looks, battery Life awesome. Rs. 1520 Going for the Samsung Guru 100, Whats your say Guys

I was wondering what gift I should give to my father on father's day, this thread made me realise that my dad too is struggling with the same problems with his old Nokia hand set, I too require some handset with the same specifications (large buttons and large text fonts) but without FM and Camera as he will never use it, It should be a GSM handset, with user friendly interface. Brother these are all chinese handsets, which come under different brand names, I know a importer in Mumbai, who had imported such sets in quantity about 6 months backs, the landing cost that time was around Rs. 4500 bucks a piece

Never used the *333 option, but I have tried to contact via *369 to speak to customer care as I have a Prepaid connection, Many a times the phone just disconnects, after pressing the customer care option. this happens mostly during afternoon and evening. Mornings the connection is fast and it ususally takes less than a minute of wait time, before you are connected to the customer care representative

Well as the phone is broken you have no option but to buy a new phone. but as regarding the battery showing full charge, you can just switch off the phone and restart and then charge the phone, the charging begins without any hurdle, this is common problem with some of these chinese phones

Earlier this voucher was costing Rs. 222/- Now they have reduced to Rs. 195/- to Compete with Reliance, I still feel the Rs. 325/- Freedom voucher is better, because apart from giving the same benefits of unlimited talk time and the above mentioned rates, you get a talk time of Rs. 150/- that effectively reduces the Price of unlimited talking to Rs. 175/-

I heard on TV, that the GSM phones will be priced at Rs. 499/- a piece, that makes it the cheapest GSM phone which will be availiable

Please Suggest me a good Nokia GSM handset, Price Range Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 10000/- Iam not particular about music, should have a good camera, durable, want to gift it to someone

Buy the LG 3000 or the LG 3500, both the phones are good and will serve your purpose

I have not used Dosh TV, but iam using Tata Sky for the past one year, I am very very happy with the service and picture quality, I have never encountered any Hodden cost problems till date, the billing is transparent

Bu the way price of this phone is now reduced to 501/- sim card and life time activation Rs. 299/- total charges Rs. 800/-, but better optio is to spend 500 bucks more and buy the LG 3000 .

Bhai but why would one buy such a handset, Tata and reliance are offereing handsets with life time warranty and all features at 700-800 bucks, plus the second hand market offers great deals

I agree with both you, Classic phones are junks and the 7 series are the worst of them all, bought 2 on sunday, both of them turned out to be faulty, got them exchanged for LG 3000 by paying the diference. Ideal thing would be gift them off as toys to your kids. Avoid guys they are absolute junks

@saugatadc My dear friend, you are 100% right that this facility is available with TATA, i do agree. But as the starter of this thread has post the thread in Reliance Mobile / Reliance Hello Discussion > Reliance Mobile World / R World forum, so it clearly represents that he is querrying about the Reliance network and not of any other service provider. As their is no such kind of service available with Reliance till date. Thats why I answered his query in a BIG "NO". Anyways, your comments can be very useful to many TATA subscribers. As many of them don't know about this service availability in TATA. But after reading your post they will surely get benefitted. And obviously I'm eagerly waiting for the same service to be started by Reliance also. Lets wait for the best to happen in Reliance also. Regards.
