Hi Guys, I ve got pixi plus and voice service is running fine after registering meid thru sadikk/hetal. I tried to configure 1x data as suggested in the 1st and in subsequent post,but in vain. QPST nor CDMA workshop is detecting the phone. Phone is in DIAG mode (i.e. in ##USBPASS# I can see DIAG @ USB port1, but USBNet is "disable"). Rooting done too. What wrong am i doing here? Cheers.

Whooaaaa got it working. Thanks Saurabh and Doc for helping me out. I was using nokia 6235 before transferring the number to pixi+, I used long setting (*3001#12345#) and noted MIN number, put that into pixi and it worked.... Btw, I havent configured the pixi for 1x data yet, need some info on that, I am on reliance. Thanks guys Cheers.

Hi, I tried *228, it says my number is activated on this phone. But, still m not able to make ir rcv calls. Also tried to transfer d number to my old phone using HCC card, but no luck...

Before I changed both values. MDN number was 0000001549 and I dont remember MSID number. With MDN as 0000001549, I was able to make and receive the call. How to find out IMSI number? Dis pixi is CDMA... Thanks.

Hi there, SMS Spoofing means masking. For example, when u get the msg from you Bank, instead of numbers you will see alpha numeric name like "ICICI Bank" as a sender's ID. But, masking is possible only on GSM network, CDMA like reliance/ TATA doesnt support masking (though in some circle they do), in CDMA you will see the numeric number, which again can be fake numbers. We provide the SMS solution/ Products to the enterprise, but we do enter into agreement with them clearly stating spamming and illegal masking is not allowed. Such SMS can be traced back, hence if you visitor sends the SMS which contain illegal stuff and /or harass the recipients of such SMS, you will get into trouble as SMS was sent thru your account and you are responsible for the content sent thru it. Website who are offering free SMS, will give you only 100 characters, rest of the 60 characters includes advertisement, from where revenue comes in and these site verify your mobile numbers by sending the password to your mobile, hence when you send the SMS thru such site, website owners have the record of the visitors who is sending the sms. Also I cannot browse the web, whenever I follow the step mentioned in this thread, I can browse the web for a while but after some times it give error 3000: data service is unavailable. hi, We (company i work in) are providing the SMS platform to Google, the 9773300000 is a virtual number belongs to Mumbai Circle, hence for Mumbaiites sms charges to ths number will be local (can be free too, depending upon your plan) and for non-mumbai number, std charges will be applied. You can use it for business purpose as well, if your name is hard to pronounce and if person is on move, you can tell them the keywords and the info will be received by the recipient. you can keep ur email, office address, telephone numbers etc...
