hi, I had applied for the passport last week, for DOB proof they only consider School Leaving Certtificate, Birth Certificate, no other documents will be accpeted other than the above two. I had misplaced birth certificate, i showed them SSC passing certifiate which had my DO, but they refused to accept that, then I had to produced the copy of LC attested by the school. If u dont have either of two, u could produced the Affidavit stating ur DOB and place of birth, dont 4get to notarized the Affidavit. CHEERS.

hi, This is not the case of one company... usually all MNC and Indian cmpanies take customers for granted, most of the indian consumer doesnt know their right and secondly our lazy and lacklustre judicial system, even if the consumer goes in court, delay in arriving of the order act as barrier to pursue the case. Its high time , consumer in india demand their rightful right for "consumer service and satisfaction" else be ready for endless rollercoster ride by so called "customer care dept". CHEERS

voucher of 195/- is same as that of reliance, may be this for first time tata's following the reliance. I wonder wat will happen when MNP is implemented, how one will be able to distinguish between on-net number or off-net. I guess in future mbl companies will introduced voucher where o/g calls on all network will be free ( like garuda, whereby for 2k, local o/g are free to any n/w), ofcourse voucher has 2 be cheaper than 2k. Yup, lately reliance mbl service has become very poor, before i used chat on phone without any call drop in running train but nowadays even while traveling in bus result in call drops. This is in stark contrast to TATA, their service is getting better day by day, surely switching to tata, their call rates are cheap and service is better compared to reliance, atleast in Mumbai. Who said that S40 based cant be infected wid d virus... my 6235 is not working after i downloaded java based S/w, although I could make and receive call, but i cant play games nor can i used the software i had i my "Collection" folder. and due to this, images and videos which i had took using the cam, they too are getting corrupted. So virus can get into ur S40 based mobile and there is java based anti-virus i had seen 2 months ago on interner, u gotto buy one. Cheers

hi guys, need help here. I had downloaded some games and application in my Nokia 6235, which gets stored in "Collection " folder. after downloading one such application (it had a virus), whole collection folder is empty now, but the space is still occupied by those s/w. And even if i download new s/w in collection folder, i cant see them but they occupy the space in memory. Any ideas how to fix this prob? Can i format the phone by Bitpim, after taking the back-up? or by any other S/w??? Please help yaar, i have to surf the net thru mini-browser which s**ks, mini opera was much much better and losing the memory too. Cheers

what is the key features of this model? This model has been disontinued. U will not get the new model in outlet (unless they have old stock). If u are ready to shell out 8700/-, better go for 6275 or other model which has more features than 6235. Cheers.

I don't know whether any such codes exist or not. But my dear friend, it could definitely not be a feature which is supposed to be used in case of emergency...if you cannot even remember it...how do you expect anyone to google it during an emergency? But yes, I do believe that there is some amount of energy left in the battery, but if we are able to extract even the last drop of that juice, then it would definitely kill the battery and it would be very difficult to revive it later on...maybe, becoz of this reason, they do not disclose such codes (if they exist). *3370# can be use to restore some power in emergency. I guess this works only on GSM nokia Mobile. I am not sure if this actually works, one of my friend told me it worked for his mobile, but i m not sure abt it. Cheers

What if i want one number of Reliance on NAM-1 setting and Tata number on Nam-2 setting. Min number for both the numbers will be different but ESN will be same. So ESN+MIN on both the network (RIM and TAta) will be unique in their respective database. Can we try this? I think it will work... Wot say?

Hi , Can we have the two numbers of two carriers on one phone by setting NAM1 and Nam2??? I have N6235 with RIM connection, can i change the NAM2 & other setting wid tata and keeping the NAM1 setting of Reliance I have motorola c210 (not using any more) which first had tata postpaid number then i gave it to MTNL guys for GAruda, they kept the NAM1 setting unchanged and changed the NAM2 seeting according to their specification. Although, now both the number has been deactivated but when i select the NAM1, mobile shows the signal of TATA and when i change to NAM2 then the signal is of Garuda. Can i do the same wid my nokia phone? Is it possible? Cheers
