In a move that could well be the beginning of Internet access through mobile Broadband, Hutchison Whampoa has forged a group of global Internet companies, and handset makers - Nokia and Sony Ericsson, to globally launch Broadband mobile Internet access on the same flat fee model as fixed Broadband Internet. Hutchison says X-Series will be priced like fixed line Broadband, providing use of mobile Internet services for a flat fee. "X-Series from 3" will be available in the UK December 1st onwards. I have compaq 2207 AL celeron laptop, few days back my laptop screen freezed while working on it and after restart didnt show any clear display but a very light display comes after sometime and it doesnt refresh. It has 15" regular screen. Plz tell me how much amount will a replacement cost.

but dear honest bhai, who would advice to pay amount of 25k+, for the solution worth 2500. And that too for a laptop whose cost is less than 20k right now.

The trick is to open the lcd and remove the inverter and take it to the repair shop,It gives them a feeling that this person cant be fooled.I did the same and was charged 700 for repairing it and in another laptop the invertor was unrepairable and I had to give 1800 for another inverter.Both laptops were compaq and I took it to Vidhi computers in Borivli east.Then there is one Ruchi computers at mogra village Andheri east,they are also into chip level repairing and nowadays they are more into laptop screens and plasma. But please dont try to open the lcd if you dont have basic technical knowledge,and even if you want to go ahead please do it after removing the charger and the battery.it would be advisable to download the repair manual of the respective model from thier site before attempting any repairs yourself. can you plz provide link to get repair manual for my laptop (Compaq 2207 AL) , i have tried but couldnt find anywhere. I have opt for freedom plan for internet (rconnect) , since long time(more than 10 days) i am not able to view my data usage at the site, due to this i am not able to surf within my monthly limit. plz inform when will the site be available with updated rconnect usage. I made a complaint to chairman office i got this reply. But still today (2nd jan 2006) the problem is not solved.

now again rconnect usage is not appearing on reliance website for freedom/freedomplus plan.

reliace website shows your unbilled data usage only if you have freedom(1 gb)/freedom plus (1.5gb) plan, for rest of the plan they do not show any usage. I am a zte user with freedom plan and i get all details at reliance site.

i think the com port used by the ZTE card is now being used by your new ISP connection, delete the device on that port and problem would get solved.

for a usb cable until and unless the usb drivers are correctly (that makes a virtual com port) installed no further installation could continue

2112 uses a serial cable. so all you need is to first install standard 33.6/56/112k standard modem and than make a simple dialup connection with dialing no #777 and username and password your 10 digit mobile number. it will work, i have tried with this handset.
