oh yea, well gmail hasnt officially launched yet. so it is not available to the public. but u can get it if u get invited from either a google employee or a gmail user. and no use asking me for invites, im heavily booked. i got 3 invites yesterday and gave them all yesterday itself. i have given one to chirag, so that he too might get invites and so that way will be able to give a few more to rimweb users. i will try to give a few more to rimweb, but i didnt get any today. i also swapped one of my invites to get a aventuremail account. it gives 2 gb email account. http://www.youvegotpost.com this is supposed to give unlimited storage and unlimited attachments and everything unlimited, but so far i havent received my account yet.

hey guys i got some news for u i got aventuremail its not as bad as i thought, it has many cool features. and its very customisable. it gives 3 aliases. that means i can have 1 email inbox and 4 email ids. pretty cool huh?

yea i have seen it for some time now. but u cant trust them to stay free for a long time, or for that matter stay in business. better try to get a gmail address.

hey guys, i use both spymac and gmail yes gmail, i got an accout today..... i know u would be calling me all kinds of names. anyway gmail is really fast. especially after logging in it took me about 5 sec to log in. and after that each click gives prompt action. and the features are really good. u can label each email. the email you send and receive from one person is shown together so its easy to refer. and so and and on. and another feature i liked best. if u have logged in, then even from sent or trash folder u just have to press c to compose a new message, its almost like a program instant result. press c and ur already inthe compose page. compared to it spymac is not that good. i use it only for pop3, been using it for a few months i think. and sometimes i dont get my mail. its servers seem to be down a lot. another thing, i dont have invites yet. and if i get invites i would give it out to some close friends first and maybe a few on rimweb. so if i dont reply to ur requests dont take offence my email id there: its suniljoseph@gmail.com

well you can see how it looks like at gmail.com it seems pretty cool. also they have given some email to a few ppl. people who were regular posters at blogger got it. there is another site called gmailswap.com. if someone who has an account is interested in giving someone else that account they can do that. you just have to give them something really good though. kinda like barter system. i doubt if it would work though. but you can wait till gmail officially launches, and get an email account. it would be worth the wait.

oh god. good thing i didnt try to exchange it with someone else. but my friend told me it had those facilities. and i thought since it was based on some other nokia model it would have.

i have been using spymac for a while now, but it seems their pop server is not that reliable. coz many times i havn't been able to connect using outlook. also while reading their forum i came across a post saying that it was compulaory that u use pop3 client so u dont really get 1gb space. unless u keep a copy of your email on the server. btw google is coming up with their email called gmail, it is not available to the public, just for testing. but they are going to give 1 gb, and they have really changed the way it looks. i mean you can put lables instead of putting it in different folders. tht way some email can have more than one label. also u can get your email correspondence in order. meaning, tht you can see the email u got the reply u send and so on. almost as if its a chat window. maybe almost like a forum.

hi i think there is a software which makes ur usb port act as serial. i dont remember the name, but it is a number. i had it with a samsung c100, but i dont have it now, coz i returned the cd along with the cable. but i am sure you will be able to find it if u search on google. someone who have usb please try it and put the result here so that those who have usb can benifit. i think this is the software name "wd_pl-2303.zip" this a link i am not sure if it is the same software, but it seems to work for c100 try it and tell me if it workedhttp://www.mobiles.unipro.ru/files/USB-Device-Driver.zip

well one of my friend has it, i saw it yesterday. it has group sms, melody composer, ringtone sending facilty i mean it rocks man. and he had some pretty good ringtones too only the shape size and too much light otherwise great phone

i think it can be safely said that its not possible to download ringtones to your mobile phone. i had called up customer service and they told me that right now you can download only from r-world. i have a doubt that it is some kind of special coding or maybe some security signature that allows to download from r-world. so if u want to know how to download then u might as well hack into r-world and see their codes

well those who have studied costing would know bout those principles. the fixed cost of a product would remain the same in units and change in bulk that means if the fixed cost of producing 1 unit is 100 then when you product 10 units it will be 1000. so it will affect the price and would remain the same for each unit produced. and variable cost, it remains the same in total but changes in unit, for eg, salary to workers. it would be the same, but when u apportion it to the units producted, the higher the unit, the cost per unit would be lower. but still i dont think the total cost could be 50, after all they have to buy the materials, but i can understand how it could be low, since the software used is just a slight modification from some other model, so they might have saved a lot of money on that, in the same way some one posted details about LG BD2030, it seems very much like RD2030. so they might have used that design. you could also think of it another way, the design for RD2030 might have been rejected by LG and reliance offered to buy it for a cheap rate, LG would ofcourse have no objection to it. and seeing the success of that model in india they might have come out with their model BD2030. whatever it is reliance is certainly making a lot of money on the sale of handsets

hey u do VOIP, so u call them to their phone from the net, right? in that case there isnt much chance that the quality would improve. try using some other site which gives VOIP. coz the prob would be with bandwidth, and the present service provider may not be having good bandwidth, with some other service provider u might get better bandwidth, try yahoo. they should have good bandwidth.

i am sorry guys but i have to dis agree with you all. reliance is quite right in saying that there is no roaming charge. for gsm mobile phones roaming charge is fixed at rs3, the rest is call forwarding charges. plus the operators commission. for eg, if i am gsm user roaming in kerala, and my home location is chennai, when i get a call, the charges i incurr are std chrage from chennai to cochin, anywhere in kerala the std charge is till cochin, i am not sure bout the other states. roaming charge of about rs.3 plus the operators (roaming network) commission of 10% or something. let me see if i can find some material on this coz my knowledge about the rate is almost a year old. if i find anything i will post it.

i dont think admins or mods have send email in their capacity to get membership, it would be kind of spamming. but i am sure that they have asked their friends, so it would be a good idea to merge thsoe 2 options. it would also be a good idea to add another option called another forum, and to name it as a reply. it would enable us to know how popular we are in other forums. 1. word of mouth (friends) 2. search engine 3. from other forums. cant think of any other way someone would find this forum.

i dont think the sites change the registry. if sites could cange it then every computer running windows could have been corrupted by a single email. and i havent faced such prob. most often the sites ask if you would like to change the home page. but i think it is possible to change without permission. the best thing to do would be not to go to that site. i have seen such a prob on a friends computer. but i believe that it was caused because of downloading and running some program from the net. the only sure work around such a prob would be to reinstall. a clean install. but u can try some registry cleaners. i doubt if it would be effective. or else you would have to find out which program had changed the entries. if u r using xp or me then u can use system restore, restore it to a time when there was no such problem. an advice for those who r just starting, others like me would have already found out bout such pitfalls through experience. dont download and run all u get from crack or for that matter serial sites. most of then the first download would be some kind of spybot, or something which makes a lot of unwanted changes to ur computer. check it out using antivirus.
