Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
sunil_jok replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
i have told u i once worked for airtel. there when we used to give cug connection one person would be responsible for the payment of bill of all the parties. so we would change the credit limit of everyone as per their requirements. and also if it is possible to set limit for customers then the customer can also choose at what limit they should be notified. if they think that some of us wont be able to pay if a certain limit has reached, then we can also say that if such limit is reached then it would streach our budget. so it should be possible for us to change the limit which would be a limit below their limit. i am sure it is possible. -
what is that newsletter about? what do they mean by consumer driven mobile awareness?
-
well the idea of being a moto journo sounds good. nyway i have got a 2nd hand car, which im planning to use as a taxi so that i can get some money to improve it and also for some other purposes

did u use bit pim? what size did it show? i think it might be same size coz since they have modified the ringtone format for their lg rd2030 then its likely they have incorporated it for all their phones. try overwriting. tell us if its working... btw great work.

well they should give a facility to log the r-connect usage. before i got cable i used dishnet dial up and they gave me details bout my usage. if they can give usage details for sms and all then they certainly can give for r-connect

hi guys its good to see ppl taking such active interest and contributing so much to the forum as well as its users. i dont have much interest in wall papers, but it gladens me to see that no one is gonna blame me for not giving much interest to wall papers, like i did for ringtones. thanks to ppl like u.. keep up the good work. and do come to us if u need any help, i wont be able to help much with creating wall papers. i dont know anything bout it. and i bet i can learn a lot from u guys. but in any other way. dont hesitate to ask. thanks again for making this a success.

hi i read somewhere that you have to buy handset from reliance only? is this true? i mean cant u buy handset from a foreign country and bring it and use it here? because if it is true then its against the law.. a consumer has the right to choose what handset he should buy... and especially so if it is available in the market... u just need to place a complaint with the consumer court and they would be in deep trouble...

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
sunil_jok replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
you can ask them. and the best thing is u can set your own credit limit. say u want to limit ur calls to 1000 just tell them to do so. they would rather do that than have trouble later on with non payment of bill -
i like cars and all other vehicles. but im not into it that much. i dont visit websites looking at their pictures. or try to find info of it. if i see it i appreciate it. if i saw an article i read. and i get a chance to ride then i ride... the thing is i enjoy riding vehicles. thats all

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
sunil_jok replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
on what charge? its a practice followed by many cos to set a credit limit. if you exceed that limit you may have to make an interim paymet. even after that those guys who got connection using fake address are able to call for upto 40000+.. they certainly are crazy i dont know why there is such prob at places like banglore, mumbai and all. here in cochin i have hardly had any problem and i havent seen guys facing such issues. atleast not in those level. only a few guys have such problems -
it seems that i was mistaken, i heard yesterday that reliance is really given quotation to gunds to collect bills. in ekm they have given to "thammanam shaji". i dont know how far this is true. but it sounded very reliable. i am sorry that i didnt take the post seriously. i apologise to all members.

just go to bazee.com. and search for reliance. you will find lots of stuff there
-
i too found that out the hard way... but i guess i really dont want ppl finding out my address. atleast when i am surfing the net

-
is the handset they r selling with bill and warrenty, or is it stolen handset? i remember studying that a co cant make a person buy related product just to use their product or service. especially when another product is available. are there any lawyers in this forum??

TRAI Releases Quarterly Performance Indicators.
sunil_jok replied to niket's topic in Reliance Communications
there will be 2 big players but they would have equal power. the rates would be fixed by a regulatory authority with no flexibility to change it. so equal rate for both. we wont be at their mercy because they are only providing the service and collecting the money. they wont be able to fix the rates... -

look like wht i have been thinking was right.. we are gonna see a lot of mergers... is reliance gonna do an AT&T. remember AT&T was split up into 4 or so companies because it was too big for its competitors.. and the americans were afraid that the co might use its power to crush its competitors... in india as per the report only airtel, bsnl, hutch and reliance are gonna last.. im guessing that most of the other providers will be merged with airtel and hutch... bsnl is not gonna be a threat to anyone and neither can anyone threaten it.. its not gonna be a thread because they dont think are not trying to get the market. they are satisfied with what they get... reliance is gonna gobble up the market because of its wide network, better quality.. low roaming charges and pricing policy... airtel will survive because of its large size and its survival skills. they were not much affected by reliance.. atleast not much.. i dont know much about hutch so iwont comment on it.. but im guessing they have deep pockets... but if reliance really press the on the pedal, then we would see quite interesting things happening.. lower call rates, and aggressive marketing... will trai be able to keep a rein on reliance??? tata might exist as a niche player.. unless they do a reliance and become more aggressive.. i dont want to underestimate tata... they have been around a long time.. i would prefer if there were only 2 mobile providers... one airtel and the other reliance... bsnl should be merged with airtel... which would give it the advantage of wide coverage.. land line should remain as seperate, with mobile giving free incoming for landline.. no extra charge on landline owners. with something like that coming there would be a leval playing field for all operators both relinace and airtel have wide coverage. good quality. and with such wide network airtel will be able to give low roaming charge comparable to reliance... and there should be a telecom authority who will fix equal call charges to both operators.. that way the only question will be do u want cdma with r-world and such features at low cost. or do you want to buy your own handset depending on your need and get a gsm mobile.. land line rate to both would be same local or std depending on the area.. and the same with mobile to land line... what a beautiful and improbable dream............ -
hey nice work... i checked it out... can u improve the quality.. its of no use to me coz i dont use wallpapers.. btw jax i saw a collection of 100 wall papers in the link u gave.. could we use it on our mobile?

Tutorials for Uploading Ringtones on LG2030
sunil_jok replied to ngcoderq's topic in Tutorial and Guides
ok i have downloaded it all to my ftp. it was bout 27 mb. and unzipped size of 112 mb... nice collection jax.... btw ashok has pointed out that this thread is not for discussion. so i think its time we did a cleaning job on this thread. all discussion would either be deleted or moved to another appropriate thread. i have another suggestion... having the ringtones in diff files might turn out to be very difficult.. so i am thinking of zipping it into files of 50 kb each... we would give credit for those who created the ringtone ofcourse.... i would like to hear your opinion on this... -
u cant correct ur address from r-world. you will have to go to their office and sit with them till its corrected.

in rim directory go to the bottom. there is an option called de list.
