see if u have any upgrades available. it might change with the latest upgrade. is any other nokia users having same prob? if not then it might be a good idea to flash ur memory. i mean resetting it like chirag suggested

why dont u want to use gprs? if orange supports it then it can be used along with ur connection. it would cost a fixed charge per month. so u wont have to pay 2 bills. and their rental too. it is much faster too. i think u can get gprs phone for bout 6000 maybe even lower

if u r talking bout reliance making it mandatory that all handset has to be purchased from them, then i asked about it at the webworld and only then did i post it here. they told me that only handset distributed by them can be used and u cant buy handset from another person or co. they seem to have monopoly on the distribution of cdma handset. they were selling handset but the point is they were selling. they were doing it so as to make a neat profit for themself. the customers didnt have to return it coz reliance had got the money for the handset, if they returned the handset then they wouldnt have made much profit. there is no scheme by which reliance would allow ppl to bring in their own handset. i had put that after talking to the ppl at webworld, maybe u should have asked bout it to them

i dont think it is the prob. coz at my web world i have no such problems, and i have never been turned away without a solution yet. so i think it is up to the individuals who work at each web world to do their job.

well i tried, and got the same answer, but when u try his full name it works, but the prob is it is someone elses name, coz chirag has taken his no with his fathers co name or something. so i dont think it is possible to get his phone no using the search option. but i got only one answer when i searched for chirag dedhia. but when i tried his no and searched i got the address im not giving out the details due to privacy reasons. so if u get too many answers when u try 1st name try using sur name. if that too gives too many results try giving the place, i mean the specific location of the person, not mumbai, but something like "vikroli"

i think going into r-world itself would be chargable. think of it like an internet connection i dont think they were cheating, us. coz they had told it would be chargable. they just keep the free period extented

well i have no prob with reliance web world, i have a good guy here at my web world and he is always helpful, and always explaining the pros and cons of each new set, policy, plans and everything else. he would talk to me even during his lunch time, and im really pleased with "his" service, i dont talk to anyone else on web world so i dont know much bout how others feel. but i think their customer care on help line do need some more training, they r unable to answer my questions sometimes, and most of the time all they have to give is a written down reply

yea, it is pretty good, i use it for most of my purposes, but their spam policy is a bit hard.they uses black lists. so when someone on my network sends spam they blocked my email id too for out going, i had to contact their support, after which they gave me some instructions which worked fine, their support is pretty good, i get immediate response

well i too use smtp to send my email, but i think there are quite a few email service providers giving smtp server. it might not be fast as ur own isp server, but still it would work. do u need it to send lots of email or to send big emails?

its got a pretty simple answer. reliance is not an isp. they r not registered as an isp. but still they have the 5th or 3rd largest internet subscribers.... quite interesting isnt it? and if reliance does give out email address... wow. they would require pretty large storage space....

i doubt if it is cdma. most likely to be gsm... the prob is that reliance has its hand in a lot of areas, and i doubt if any of its employees have the full picture of its services, or for that matter, the complete pic of the reliance cdma and reliance gsm operations.... so instead of saying they dont know, they try to guess an answer.... when r they gonna learn there is no shame in admitting what u dont know. that is the only way to learn, if u admit u dont know, u learn. if u make urself believe that u know, then u woud never learn

lets get somethings straight. first of all i dont think DAPO users are the majority. if anything they just constitute a very minor no, when compared to the other users. 2nd. is yahoo messenger accessable from reliance pre-paid?

actually there really is an alliance. that is why such service cost double the charge of a normal sms. it does not cost much money to send an sms, but to set up an sms server does take a lot of money. and in the case of yahoo and rediff the traffic would also be very high, so they need to charge some money for it, otherwise they wont be able to maintain such a service.

ok, if it uses the same data base then it should be possible to have it both as a same forum. i am sure those who know php would be able to solve the puzzle... im really looking forward to this.. hope you guys can do it...
