Checked my uptime before my restart it was 354Hrs and being awake 8%. Dont think I had ever restarted my Nokia 6275 or Samsung Max for months... Now the dialer is working very smooth, I think it was little slow when I restarted as I usually get some errors some "Code 65" and some handset activation error.
-
Thanks Sumit, works better then before after the restart but not all that fast. @Dhiraj, I am on the Original ROM supplied by Sprint 1.56, wonder which application is causing the slowness.

any body here has a problem with regards to slowness of dial pad on their HTC hero. Lately i have been facing that, after i have pressed a number the number is visible after almost 3-4 seconds lag which is pretty annoying

I was wondering if someone can help me out on this on HTC Hero regarding Conference facility - 3 way calling. There are three ways to conference a call 1 - First you make an outgoing call and then you make another outgoing call and then conference. - Works on HTC Hero 2 - First you get an incoming call and then you make an outgoing call and then conference. - Does not work 3 - First you get an incoming call and then you received another incoming call and then you conference. - Does not work. All three steps used to work on my other phone earlier, but unfortunately not on this phone.
-
Conference is activated, this is a limitation in Hero. Four limitations in hero 1 - No Conference if one of the call or both calls are incoming 2 - Camera without flash 3 - No Radio 4 - No files transfer on Bluetooth.

I thought google voice is only available in US and only through invite. I like the idea where Google is going, if internet is freely available and most of the users are using Android, I see free calls happening over the internet and Mobile operators loosing business.
-
Infact both the calls have to be outgoing. Will there be a third party app for this? I doubt...

Paypal has wierd policies. I registered a new account with pay pal and i couldnt make transactions. When i contacted their customer service they said that i am high risk to them. I wonder how i am high risk when i have not even made single transaction using pay pal The system automatically flagged me as high risk.
-
I Tried again, when one of the call that you try to conference is an incoming call or if both the calls are incoming then i get a message Starting MMIS Service and then an error message unable to conference.
-
Right, I used to follow the same procedure when I used my old phone. The procedure is same for Reliance and Tata. On HTC Hero, you make an Outgoing call. Then you press Menu--> Add call and dial the other one After that press Menu again and then you have an option for conference. ( Explanation on Pg 75 of the manual of HTC Hero) But the option is missing if either the two persons whom you want to conference is an incoming call.

Hi Guys, need a small favour, can some post the advance task killer or good offline apps which can help users who do not have access to Mobile internet or WIFI. I know you might be getting an obvious question in your mind why did i buy a HTC Hero then, wanted to get rid of my Samsung Max. Hopefully once Tata comes out with good data plans will subscribe one. Thanks in advance.
