Hey dude , Preshan mat hu , 3G era is just started we have to go beyond , Lets hope Unlimited will come when competition grows. I think Bsnl will soon introduced some Software update to its Evdo modem to make them EVDO A from 0 . At least Bsnl tu hai for unlimited Something is better than nothing

Me too, call drop is very frequent , but overall ok , Hey everybody i live in very congested place like gali mohalla in my town. so inside my house i got 2 bar or say -80dbm , on my house first floor i got all the bars -65dbm . Can in future the signal quality improves

I get Reliance EDGE Internet in Punjab free of cost . I think Rel is testing it , soon he will charge

photon is a big hit in J&K , during my visit to Srinagar last month , I saw hording of TATA high speed broadband Photon. tata and Reliance is the only provider of Internet in remote area of j&K

in my house i got only 1 or 2 bar of signal on my nokia 3110C, even after this i can call, and really very crystal clear sound, even get back incoming call too . Remember if you have any other network. which show 1 or 2 bar you can not make or receive call. Consider after full fledged network what will going to be happen. I hope Reliance will got addition spectrum after 6 months , if it added 50 lacks customer per month. And second thing Reliance will give faster and better 3G services . because of various reason So please do not blame on Reliance . It is ok . Ultimately it is the first telecos who gave you first service with in 11 month after obtaining spectrum

EV DO is the cheapest 3G will be available whenever auction done. because it is working on 800MHz frequency of existing cdma 2000 1X . so it is the cheapest 3G. on the other hand GSM 3G is entirely new thing , it is working on WCDMA in 2.1GHz band or above. so telecos need new bts , hence costly reliance if got spectrum in each circle will be lucky in both CDMA and GSM ,

ohh man , i was talking to my brother on cdma front , so Evdo ya HSDPA is ready on most of BTS , but await spectrum , I am wonder there has been 5 months since spectrum is given to *** hole BSNL , and still no sign of it, Feb is going , when will they bring 3G . This Gov ****s on 3G front we lost precautioas time , most of countries has 3G , Even Pakistan has EVDO in most of area , we are looser really. Very shame on this Gov , totally Failed in Telecoms

I asked about Reliance equipment , He said it is mixed of Huwai and Alcatel-lucast . he said new equipment consume less power. So this mean low cost of operation , Another is all edge enabled , I asked him about EVDO , he said we are ready to do so , we need to replace existing plate to a new EVDO enabled plate , but we can not do so due to Gov Restriction, after Auction , We will in position to give you EVDO data services within 2 months

In Chandigarh i am very impressed with rel GSM coverage amazing network , no call drop, Signal strength is below -70dbm at house and below -60dbm at open places. One thing more , ny friend is a engineer at Reliance , He said Reliance needs lot of BTS becoze of 1800Mhz frequency band , this is costly affairs but one thing is good spectrum efficiency increased . So that why Reliance install new tower instead of existing CDMA

Ya sachinerock , this is same with me even after one bar , i can make call and receive call Well it is due to advance equipment. plus a very good startegy to deploy base station

My Relaince GSM Mobile show this cell info PB6ROPAR0003G@1 My circle is Punjab, town is Ropar Is that mean this tower is 3G enabled

It mean we have to spend Rs26 , and after 31st March the scheme died and call rate increase to Rs1 Lu kar lu duniya mutthe me for a month , what is this , SMS pack is flop , even Reliance CDMA gives 1000sms for Rs25. Messaged to vodafone is not going

Our gov are *** hole , if it declare 3G policy in 04 than at the time , it is mature , hope new GOV speedy up the process , well i am Bsnl EVDO user , And it's 3G. the only difference is it is working on old cdma 2000 1X spectrum

From yesterday , I got good signal strength in my home , we are live in a dense populated area of urban Punjab, earlier there was no signal in my room only on top of my house, i think my cell info show a new tower say RC650zqc-3G

Today i got Reliance GSM ,I buy two sim @25. Here in Punjab ,the response is very pathetic . reason no add etc, but overall good . Today web world sold about 120 sim through all day . My sim activated at evening , And i immediately received rs 10 , on pressing *333 you can write your experience*(toll free) And yes sound quality is amazing from my reliance GSM to my friend GSM which also bought it ,but sound to other gsm provider is not good . Network is full edge . Reliance R world is free at punjab, so get all cricket update free of cost ball by ball. will test it tomorrow morning for aus vs S africa well all my balance is over , call is costly rs 1 , sms too rs 1 . at least sms tu 50 paisa hota

hey man , great information. This Rel GSM looks cool and on par with CDMA . I think time is come to say goodbye to cdma.

Here in Ropar(punjab) the network is 100 percent no call drop , work well with bsnl , and yes one thing to mention , yesterday my brother talked to his new wed wife for untriptted 4 hour stating from 11pm to 3am , she was in ChD , this prove that network is seamless , ya some major town may face network problem , but here in our town ,it's OK and perfect . lot of my friend use my phone to talking his gf ,

Hey dude ,you right , Actually i only get some cricket update ,astrology, Health related update , well EDGE setting is come when my phone operational . i think 5 messages comes , But sad thing thing is i still not using internet , ( network said , you are not subscribe to it )

Ohh yes one thing , the speed of edge , it is class 10 , and all the network is fully edge ,no gprs , although if somebody set does not have edge then it run on gprs too

In urban area of punjab , Reliance GSM network is up to date but on road it is missing 50% In Villages network is so so , i mean 70% It will take at least 2 to 3 months for full network , Although 1800MHz frequency are not very powerful , so reliance needs more base station

Here in punjab Reliance will officially launch today , so we will get the sim from monday onwards at rs 10 , so grab it as soon as possible from reliance web world
