Hi all, I am thinking of getting a dog as a pet. It is in very preliminary stages yet and lot of convincing to be done at home first. I was thinking of getting a golden retriever. I am completely new with pets so have lots of queries. Would request advice on Before getting the pet finding a good KCI certified kennel how to decide what is a good price to pay how to check that it is healthy and fit any other points After getting the petmust-do things - including visit to vet etc. food, medicines etc. training and activities with the pet Looking for people with pets (DK ji am looking at you!) to give advice. Thanks.

Amazing people, amazing advices as always. DK ji I have a soft spot for golden retrievers as they are so cute I will keep all your advices in mind. Sent while mobile.

She is no more. But she did not die in vain. We, each of us, have to ensure that. We have to change. All of us. As individuals, as society. As a nation. That change starts today. From our homes. Teach - not to accept abuse silently. Not to stay quiet in fear of dogma. And most importantly, teach to be human beings. To respect - because respect begets respect. When on the roads, don't turn a blind eye when crimes happen. Don't walk away. Don't stand and watch. Act. Even if that means taking the law into your own hands. This girl wanted to live. For two weeks she fought bravely. Bitterly. Till the end. From her hospital bed she did not know that the India outside is changed forever. That we will not take chalta hain for an answer any more. That people are rising. Finally. Our patience is breaking. The dam cannot hold flood waters any more. It is time. Time to rise and take the nation back. Time to be truly independent. May Amanat rest in peace. And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never fading with the sunset When the rain set in And your footsteps will always fall here Along Hind's greenest hills Your candle's burned out long before Your legend ever will

Revised Buy-Sell Guideline Suggestions
digitalnirvana replied to rajanmehta's topic in Forum Feedback
Arun good post as always. Can I also suggest that members strictly use the feedback system? At the moment there are feedback threads agreed but I was suggesting feedback through the system with 1) telling whether individual is buyer or seller 2) link to the sale thread 3) feedback comments. This is what xda used to follow. The market place is an integral part of the forum and we don't want it to close like the xda mp did because of scams. Sent while mobile. -

Revised Buy-Sell Guideline Suggestions

I have been meaning to post this for a long time... I recommend Rajan Mehta for immediate promotion to moderatorship. He is active on the forum, highly respected and trusted. Plus he has common sense which is must for a mod. He is very right in saying there are only 2 maybe 3 active mods on the website and it is not possible for anyone to go through every post. -

I am not either. Not that my abstenance matters in the bigger picture. But I will do my bit - sign petitions, walk in rallies, raise my voice. This incident has shaken me. It could have happened to my sister too.
