Hi, If MTNL also introduces such kind of Plans like BSNL Reliance would have been a Memory in Mumbai. MTNL has no on net plans and One India Plan like like BSNL. In many ways Mumbai customers are cheated by Reliance as well as MTNL. regards

I think Reliance is now concentrated in the introduction of GSM in metros. Therefore TATA could reach near them. Just wait some time you can see how fast they are moving ahead.

Hi, The fact is that Reliance knows very well that for increasing mobile density(RIM) in India you have to sell the phone to common people who earns 2000 to 3000 in a month. These people are not bothered about either Motorola or Nokia or LG. For them the cheapest one is the best. May be when they upgrade they may go for a high end handset. But by the time you already captured the market. Once you are in the net of Reliance it is not easy to get out. Therefore they are not bothered about these good or fancy handsets now. Their present mantra is to capture the market. Regards

Hi, I have 2 LG 2030 handset. 1. Got it three and half years before when reliance started. Although Reliance says that the handset was free but we all know how they gave this handset compulsorly making all of us club members of the club was never in existance. Used without any trouble till date although recentely it started showing some signs of aging. Battery life is ok. But horrible while travelling. Got a spare battery, in the beginning it worked very well but now it is almost useless. Planning to upgrade now. 2. Another one I got it second hand,( was also a DAPO hand set ) I got it for Rs. 500. Working perfectly alright, using as a prepaid for the last One year. Basically these handsets are working well only recharing is a painfull affair. Regards

Hi, The moment I think about Reliance, I consider them as untrustwrothy. The way they promissed something and gave something else to DAPO users and got rid of them as dirt proves it. What ever the excuses they had for that (TRAI), they never really tried to do something for DAPO users. Even now when they are offering new schemes and package for new customers they never worried about their sincere customers - be it may be DAPO or Other post paid or prepaid - When you consider Reliance's reputation with AA at helm, What is the guarantee that They will not change the conditions later to suit themselves and put ignorant customers nowhere blaming Insurance Regulatory Authority or some innocent looking cluases. Hi, Even I have Triband 199 which offers 400mb downloading and the speed is quite good. But I have taken a landline just for this broadband and I am paying 160 plus + modem Rs. 80 as rental without any free calls. Now IPTV is on anvil and the hope of bsnl's new scheme of cheaper local call and std may be aped by mtnl is keeping me glued with this landline scheme which is quite expensive while comparing with Garuda, which provides mobile for 100 rupees monthly rental with 25 calls free + unlimited internet for 250. If the speed of internet through Garuda is good then I have to rethink. regards

Hi, Personally I use my FWP more, probably 2 - 3 hours a day. There is no mention of FWP, whether it comes in mobile or landline? regards

Hi, I don't think it is because of the system upgradation. Whenever they find that they cannot give a proper reply or cannot help the customer or they really don't understand, this is their copy right answer. Even I have four reliance connection, but most of the time I myself had to find out the solution or consistantly I had to go to web world (Where most of the times 'network is down') and get it solved. Luckly, web world is situated at a stone's throw for me. regards

Hi, Yesterday I had faced some kind of network connectivity problem especially at around 1.00 p.m. but that was only for few minutes otherwise my phones are fine. I could be able to receive and dial.

Hi, Even I do stay in Powai and I get very strong signal at my home all the time. Yesterday it was strange. My mobiles and FWP were showing wavering signal. Very weak signals and the signal goes off the moment I dial a number or I get any call (Only one call I received ). During 26/7 I had uninterrupted service of Reliance and I appreciated it a lot. But yesterday it was totally opposite. I had to depend my MTNL land line, which I use only for broadband, to contact my friends and relatives staying at western suburbs and other places. Not evern SMS was working. Strangely I could contact reliance numbers of my friends staying at Western Suburbs through my MTNL landline. I don't know what it prove. But I started distrusting Reliance. This happened during 6.45 p.m. to around 10.00 p.m. Then everything became normal again. Only after 10.00 people could contact me through my reliance number. Regards
