Hi Tanveer Why are you so hesitant about MTNL? Now you get a new connection and broadband activation within a week. And I feel MTNL broad band is the cheapest and for me most reliable connection. I had subscribed TRI BAND since its introduction in Mumbai. I had least trouble with it. In fact I took a landline only for Broadband. Even during last year's flood my connection was fine and working well. regards.

Hi, It is a new option. You get that link only after logging in to your id. It is at the left hand corner of the screeen below Reddiffmail.com 1 GB. Once you selected it will go to beta version whenever you log in. There is an option to go back to regular version also. regards

Hi I do agree with Chirag. For the last few days I am finding it very difficult to call through reliance FWP to other network and reliance itself . Many are complaining about my RIM getting engaged while calling (actully the phone was free at that time) First time I am experiencing this problem with reliance. With Dolphin, it is a regular feature. Is it overloading of the network? I depend reliance largely for communication. with regards, Vijay

Hi, This Visabillpay scheme started almost one and half month before. Around Deewali time. This Rs. 50.00 offer is only an introductory offer not a regular one. They do charge a fee according to the bill we pay + service tax. It is benefecial if the amout is below 1500. It is true that through net banking we could pay many bills directly without the help of 'Billdesk'. I used to pay my bills through that. But now 'Billdesk' has taken over that and for they demand registration for payment of bills. regards

Hi Even I was facing the similar problem, but I solved it. Try as follows: Remove the existing yahoo messenger. Make sure you are not using yahoo.co.in use google and download Yahoo Messenger with voice and Install it. Reboot the machine. It will work fine. What I feel that in India they are blocking the voice chat . When I was using skype for voice chatting they blocked microphone when I registered as an Indian user. But then I registered as a US user they allowed me to talk. That is why I asked you not to use yahoo.co.in . In version 6 this trouble was not there. Hope this will solve your problem, with regards

Hi This is the first time I didn't feel regret of having RIM with me. It gave uninterrupted service to me. I do have a RIM, FWP , Truph and MTNL land line with me. Both RIM and FWP gave me fantastic service. Truph went dead. MTNL line was working but could get very few numbers. Surprisingly Broadband was working fine. I stay at Powai. my reliance phones were not only helped me to communicate with people but also helped my neighbours. Many of them were expressing their regret for disconnecting their Reliance Phones Regards

Hi Even I have faced this problem last month. I started getting mails and calls asking me to pay the bill immediately which I did not do. After few reminders they barred my outgoing (after 2 weeks) although I am using rim since introduction and never a defaulter. I do own a fwp also there also I got the warning but luckly it was almost due date. so I paid. On enquiry RWW told me that this is a new method they have introduced to control huge loss due to unpaid bill. If you want to increase your credit limit you have to deposit some money. Nothing else won't work. They are not bothered the creditability of the customer. As it was an exceptional month for me I did not pay any deposit. Otherwise I won't go beyond my credit limit. Like to hear what cc people wrote to you.

I think there is some problem with their accounting spftware or some goofup. Even after paying regularly in their WW still I am getting reminders for not paying last months bills together with the threatening calls. This I am receiving from their Kolkatta office. Whenever I contacted *333, their reply was " there are upgradation going on . so please call after some time" Any how at last I got confirmation of my payment message today at 5.00 p.m.

They have to do something like that making all India incoming calls free, of course with a premium to compete with MTNL/BSNL who are also offering roaming free like rim.

Even I was trying to send ring tones since one month but always I got message delivery failed message. I did try 9193xxxxxxxx@mms.ricmail.com & 9193xxxxxxxx@rmms.ricmail.com (With and without + sign before 91) . I tried through Yahoo and rediff without success

I do agree with Chandramauli and most of the villages are not not blessed with the strong signal of RIM, compared to BSNL
