Thanks Sachin for the reply,
But i really fail to understand why reliance is taking such a huge amount of time in upgrading a tiny piece of software. MS has launched Vista around 7 months back in India, & still reliance could not respond with compatible dialler. This quantum delay is really pathetic n it obviously shows worst technological incompetency n poorest of poor planning. Just to quote sheer ignorance of your cust-care pp, they say that current version of Vista doesn't support USB data cable modems, so MS will soon be upgrading Vista to include USB data cable modems. You can see how dumbass they are, i think apart from language training, they badly need a dope of relevant technology also. And i've been hearing the same reply (it'll be available at the EARLIEST) since last 2 months. I think they should revisit the dictionary for the true meaning of EARLIEST.
Anyways this was just to vent out my frust with reliance, as i've got some other provider's broadband now, so i dont give it a damn when you upgrade...But to put across your points, Pls clarify n respond on my charges...
This is what Reliance Customer care has to say:
<<Dear Customer,
In response to your mail regarding inability to use Reliance Netconnect services, please note currently data cables are not supported by Windows Vista. It is expected to be made available at the earliest. However, Windows Vista supports Reliance ZTE, Huawei Data card and USB Modem.
Yours sincerely,
Sachin Potdar
