  1. Samsung Corby Speed CDMA Launched

Royalty is not the reason for pricing CDMA phones at a premium. Royalty is just 2% so it should be in the range of 140-160 Rupees for a Rs.7K-8K phone. The premium pricing is due to lesser number of sales of CDMA handsets compared to GSM.
  2. Go Vegan

Vegan - means absolutely no animal products. incl. milk, cheese etc. Lacto Vegans - have milk products but nothing else. Ovo Vegans - Only animal product they use are eggs. No other meat products

  4. RCom adds 2.8 mn users in Jan 2010 Source
  5. Big Bazaar To Launch MVNO

IMHO, there isn't much gain to the operator in having multiple brands for the same service. It may result in increase sales of SIM. But you have to share your revenue with the other partner, which can squeeze the operator to death in an already wafer-thin margin scenario.
  6. Go Vegan

When you have nothing else to eat, you can eat anything. Bear himself promots to go Veg as the main diet. This is taken from his site...
  7. Launch some CDMA smartphones and see your data revenue shoot up!
  8. Go Vegan

well, My family is not strictly vegan. Some eat meat while others don't. I remember when young, I was given meat and fish to taste, but I never liked it more than one bite. I have been a vegan ever since. though when confronted with inevitable situation (like No Veg while on tour etc.), I can settle for eggs; but no meat! and being a vegan - Its both a boon and a bane. Boon, since I feel vegan is the default way of human diet, the nutritional and health benefit of having less oily and spicy foods. bane, as sometimes I feel I am left with the same food items again and again no real choice!! :sob: :sob:
  9. Go Vegan

    ^^^ I am a vegan.

  12. Telenor Kicks Off Hunt For Bigger Rival

^^^ ADAG will never think of selling off RCOM. Without RCOM what existence does ADAG have?
  13. India Eyes 4G Mobile Networks

If they are really serious about 4G, they should stop 3G auctions and plan for LTE.
  14. Lets Ask Arun

We can use the +/- button if we like the post. A separate Thank You button may seem redundant.

  17. Lets Ask Arun

Arun, Is Edit and Deletion of posts disabled? Can't see one in my post. See the attached pic.
  18. well, realistically put, 3G is already in India - through BSNL/MTNL. If one wants to taste 3G, don't wait anymore. Grab a BSNL/MTNL sim and go for it(if its available ). BSNL is definitely going strong with 3G. Already 300 cities covered and roll out is happening fast. You can always shift to Private ops if you are not satisfied with BSNL-3G b'coz till the time others start 3G, MNP will definitely be here. (Don't kill me for my optimism. he he )
  19. Going To Buy Reliance Gsm

  21. ^^^ that shows how cost effective is CDMA. 180+ towers for GSM v/s just 12 towers for CDMA
  22. LG 6600 comes in 4K. I think this is the cheapest set supporting netconnect.
  23. I think this "Charge to calls to cc" was supported by all members of COAI as well as AUSPI. So I think RCOM and Tata too are going to implement this! But I hope it doesn't happen atleast with RCOM.
  24. Airtel always comes first in increasing rates and the last to reduce huh!
