Poll can be like this. Number of cdma handsets used: <2 2-5 6-9 10-20 >20 or any other combination
-
and I am shocked that people are still using this service with 6% charge. Netbanking is the best for mobile recharges; no extra charges
-
How about adding a poll also to this thread

I have used just one mobile LG6600 and one FWP

and at last... again postponed 3G spectrum auction put off to next fiscal In a surprise move, the government has postponed to the next fiscal auction of spectrum for 3G telephony which was expected to bring in Rs 35,000 crore to the exchequer. According to senior officials in the Department of Telecom, Law Minister Veerappa Moily, who is member of the EGoM, has opined that the auction should he held when the spectrum is available. Telecom Minister A Raja could not be contacted immediately for his comments. Officials however, said that the auction is expected to take place in August-September this year. It is pertinent to mention that the Ministry of Defence had agreed to vacate the spectrum only during middle of this year. The Empowered Group of Ministers, headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, had decided to allow four private telecom firms for the next generation mobile telephone services (3G) and had made a provision for garnering up to Rs 35,000 crore from the sale of airwaves in the current fiscal. The postponement of 3G spectrum auction to 2010-11 is likely to have some adverse impact on the government's finances and the fiscal deficit which is pegged at 6.8 per cent of the GDP. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/telecom/3G-spectrum-auction-put-off-to-next-fiscal/articleshow/5512747.cms -

Any one here accessing rimweb from mobile? I tried using it on opera mini and I am not able to post or reply to topic. In fact, can't see the fast reply box. 'Add reply' is not giving the text area; just 'fonts' and 'options' nothing else.
-
Just an update... I disabled the "Visual Editor" from settings and now I am able to post from Opera Mini using the default skin.
-
Ankur, did you try it with some other memory card?

Rs.1.5 deduction every day on per-minute plan! -
I am getting irritated by this different treatment given to CDMA. At least they should have removed NUC from UL299 plan. What say guys?

same here... through Google while searching for something related to Reliance Mobiles.

Finally.... I am on 3G! Converted my existing Cellone prepaid from 2G to 3G through SMS. Activation of 3G took around 4 hours. I am still using the same 2G sim! Existing balance was carried forward but lost validity as 3G gives only max. six months validity. But hey, no probs. Used Gmail and Opera. Speed is good. I am using N73 and hence no HSDPA. Some how I felt the response time(the time to start loading after clicking a link) while browsing on Opera to be longer than on Vodafone-2G as well as RGSM. May be due to distance of 3G tower. I am receiving signal strength of -91dbm while I get -76dbm on Vodafone. There is no disconnection of network. Kept it on for 4 hours. The GPRS used to get disconnected on RGSM at least once in 2-3 hours. Connected to PC and the speeds are definitely better than 256kbps. Did a speed-test and got the following result http://www.speedtest...t/685291550.png one more... http://www.speedtest...t/685292685.png Pings are high. mostly >400ms on foreign servers. Connection on PC is not as stable as on Mobile browsing. Tariff as you all know is 1p/10kb. So Re.1 for 1Mb. They have to come up with a reasonable UL plan. Btw, this post is using BSNL 3G!
