^^ yes, sending messages is still a problem for BSNL/ Airtel numbers. Working for Vodafone numbers.

No problems for me here... Even yesterday, I used the connection for many calls in the evening.. Instant connectivity, No drops.

yes! I am yet to get my deposit refunded for my Vodafone connection which was converted in Nov 08. So I can imagine what 'll happen with BSNL!

Free GPRS usage over for me too from today! When trying to connect they say to subscribe. hav one doubt ... In the "Pay-as-you-go" the tariff says 10p/10KB so is it including NUC of 5p or is again charged?

yes ... seems the sms is getting carried forward. Yesterday I got 2 SMS, used just 1 ; today checked to see 3 SMS!

What is the criteria of this free sms... some are getting 2, some 3 , 4, 6... ??

^^ Exactly! That's what I wanted to say in my previous post. The speed and the remaining time just does not match.

One small update: Messages are getting delivered to Vodafone numbers from R-GSM which was not working earlier.

Probably the shown speed is just a burst. If it is 465KB/s the download of 360MB should be over in 15 minutes. is it not?

MTS network can't be compared with RCOM CDMA or even GSM networks in terms of coverage. MTS will take at least another one and half years to cover the entire country for sure. Btw, who is the roaming partner for MTS?

I hope they launch something cheaper than Reliance is offering at 60p/min.. 10p/min would be perfect!!
