How are you guys using the GPRS in R-GSM? Using the automatic setting from the R-Menu or are you entering the settings manually?

Reliance is already having such plan. For monthly rental of 275 all SMS/Calls in India @ 50p/minute. Its a great plan for heavy users.

But I still don't understand why launch a product that was already there from the beginning. GSM was already there in Kolkata. right? and they were talking of bringing Reliance Telecom under Reliance Mobile. So why launch a separate offer there?

Hi friends, The battery of my laptop HP DV2119TX got dead recently. I now need a new battery. Do you have any idea of how much it will cost for a 6-cell or a 9-cell battery? Also any online shop selling genuine parts?

Some of my observations on R-GSM services. Voice calls are excellent and calls to BSNL, AirTel, Vodafone, etc are working great. (Personally did not tested to Tata Indicom number; others please update on this) There seems to be some problems with Messages... SMS send to BSNL is not delivered though amount has been deducted. Strange thing is that messages from a BSNL number is reaching R-GSM. SMS to Vodafone is not going through. Messages to R-CDMA is working as expected! Users of CEP please update and post your observations on the service quality.

According to CC, the mandatory e-recharge of 50/- must be done within 48 hours of activating the sim. Else the offers will never be credited into the account. Update: Started receiveing Rs.5 credit from today.
