^^OMG!! But scrapping CDMA will be the biggest blunder by RCOM. There are many users sticking with RCOM just because they want excellent voice clarity. My opinion is that RCOM should support both CDMA and GSM to the full extent. There is not much cost in this - only a small incremental cost of maintaining an additional network.

I started using mobile phones with prepaid connection from AirTel. There after I have used BSNL Cellone and Vodafone. And last RCOM. Comparing all the four I am the happiest with RCOM. AirTel has a very shaky network -sometimes good at times horrible!! BSNL-full network & still call drops!! Vodafone-Good network but no good Internet plans. So now with RCOM I am happy with Voice(Very good voice clarity as expected from CDMA) as well as Internet(on the move). Now waiting for RCOM to launch GSM so that I can use my High End GSM handset which is lying of NO use after switching to CDMA!

Hi Guys, As you all know in order to see our balance in Reliance, we send an SMS to 53670 or Dial *225. Both these methods sends the balance information in the form of SMS which is stored in the handset. Compare that with the GSM services wherein we get the last call details along with the balance after each call/sms. I am very curious to know why Reliance(Does Tata Provide this?) is not providing this service? I am interested in knowing if this is due to any limitation of our CDMA technology which is supposed to be superior and the most spectrum efficient or is it that Reliance is not just interested!. Kindly reply

Hi all, Just noticed that the fan inside the SMPS unit of my assembled PC is not working. I removed the SMPS, opened it cleaned all dust etc. and applied some oil and put it back. The fan turned for 10-15 seconds and again stopped. Again tried the same thing. This time not working. What to do now? Any one had this problem and solved?

I am having a classic 703 handset. When i switch on the handset, all the keypad lights up but the no display comes or the welcome music plays! Even if I put the phone to charge the same thing happens. What could be the reason?

Even with a bill getting a replacement is not easy. I had to part away my handset for 1 week at the ASC which forced me to buy a new one(Got a rd6600). Only after a week they came to know that the handset cannot be repaired!! The WW guys were better... had to wait for just 5 minutes; got the handset replaced.

@rajeevmishra Actually, I have N73-M Edition which also had the problem of Switching Off automatically,but very rarely. Had 2-3 instances of the phone getting OFF when in Standby. I did not go to Nokia Care. I just restored the phone to factory settings and upgraded the firmware to the latest edition through Nokia Software Updater.

Gave the troubled 703 handset to the web world and got it replaced under warranty with a new handset. I hope this battery bulding does not happen again!
