@Honest One more thing I want to know is whether this handset support Reliance Net Connect. Are you able to use it to access internet from PC?
-
Ideally you should first contact the shop from where you bought the handset.

I too wonder. Its impossible to get a call through between 5:30 - 7pm on most working days through BSNL! -
One suggestion- They could have added a title bar on top. It is very difficult to know the title of the tab you are using! Else its a cool simple browser
-
Its easy on the eyes and as Arun pointed Larger Work Area. Why doesn't it support Google Toolbar?
-
Yes I use the netconnect facility occasionally via bluetooth, and it just works great the speed is good and the connection is constant Does the phone come with a pc-suite for Bluetooth connectivity? or are you using some other software?
-
Any member using this LG 6600 for netconnect please give your review on the speed and reliability of this handset for Internet usage. Also since this phone has bluetooth can we use BT to connect to our laptop instead of a datacable and use internet?

I am comfortable with both Windows and Linux. But due to the need for some programs that work exclusively on Windows I use more of that than Linux. Till last month I was using Windows XP SP2 but now changed over to Windows Vista. Not faced any compatibility problem with any programs I use.

Reliance Communications To Float $500-million Tender For 3g Rollout
srk006 replied to Honest's topic in Reliance Communications
It would be pretty sad for us the cdma subscribers if they are not willing to rollout 3g. why don't these guys understand ev-do gives more speed than their gsm counterpart! If reliance don't launch 3g cdma, then tata will definitly get spectrum since only 2 spaces are there and 1 is reserved for bsnl. and I think in the future tata may be the no.1 in cdma in india. Reliance in its pursuit to make more bucks from Gsm will not make success there and also looseout on cdma front! -
wow... very nice news... hope they does it same for other cities soon

Hi to all I have noticed that all the telecom operators asking their customers to submit address/identity proofs while converting their existing connection from postpaid to prepaid and also vice-versa. Is it actually necessary? Since the person is already their customer(and has under-went verification), why ask them to submit these details again. Why duplicate the details of the person again. Won't it be a concern for the customer that the company holds many copies of their documents and can be subjected to misuse of these documents? At least I am bothered with this practice. What are your opinion, guys?
