Customer Verification While Migration
srk006 replied to srk006's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
That's nice of Reliance. But these stupid guys at Vodafone just don't understand and keep on insisting a new prepaid customer form+id/address proof+photo+a migration request - They say its akin to taking a new connection! -
Customer Verification While Migration

^^ The question is not of verification. We all understand its very essential for our own safety. The question is what is the need for re-verification! -
Customer Verification While Migration

That's the biggest failure of TRAI. It just recommends!! It never forces a law on these telcos. -

Secret Service Codes for All LG Handsets
srk006 replied to net_secrets's topic in Technical / OS related
Any idea what is the code for LG RD 2530? -
The non-SIM handset in question was actually bought from Reliance itself and I was using it before purchasing the SIM based one. Can I just follow the standard procedure for HCC or is there any need for Reliance people or going to web world to detach the number from the SIM?
-
Can the HCC be used for transferring number from a SIM-based phone to a non-SIM phone?
-
Hi all, I have a classic phone from Reliance which is having some problems. I want to get it replaced FREE under warranty as its still under 1 year. I want to know the procedure for getting it done and whom to contact. Thanks

Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
srk006 replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
Even though I am not much affected by this move(as I was just in the planning stage of going for a high-end handset, luckily!), I totally agree with tanveer. As some one already pointed out the total number of affected subscribers would be a very minute portion of the many million customers. So mostly RCOM acting on this mass disconnection is very less. So instead protesting and complaining to TRAI and higher authorities of RCOM would do more good - particularly that they failed to inform their customer before increasing the rates. -
Actually, the handset is not getting charged. It may be a handset or the battery charger problem. The handset is 6-7 months old. Whom should I contact for this- Reliance or ZTE service center?

Still I don't think its possible. If they do something like this, they will loose all their data customers to Tata. -

2009? -
No. Reliance will provide service on both CDMA as well as GSM.

Hmm... I had many many opportunities to visit BSNL exchange/csc; and each time they make your life miserable. If you want to activate a service, you have to visit a minimum of three times... if you find a billing error, you will keep on visiting them forever... ie. if at all they admit that there is mistake. They just don't admit that there is a mistake from their end; they feel the customer are trying to fool them!! and with RCOM, I am a lot more happier. Billing error-just 1 in 4 years!! and corrected in the next bill with jus a single visit to their cc!

Hmm... I am not having any slow loading problem. Its as fast as it was always..

W362 has voice recorder built-in. http://www.motorola.com/consumer/v/index.j...llSpecification So can it be used as call recorder by installing applications like we do in symbian?
-
nice handset.. could be made for <3.5K. any bundled offers with this handset?
-
Doe it come with built-in call recording facility?
-
I doubt... Can a phone having voice recorder be used for recording in and out calls? RCOM site shows two models- K1M and Nokia 2505 as having this feature. and K1M has expandable memory.
-
^^ But is there any basic handset which have this feature? I think No!
