I started with LG handsets but eventually shifted to nokia becoz I got fed-up with LG's non-standardised sets...each one had it's own data cable, own drivers etc etc But, still nokia is not THE best...the call log of LG handsets is by far much better than nokia's... e.g. the LED torch in LGs which has now become a standard feature in all their mobiles is much more useful than nokia's standard features like BT, using 3gp format for videos etc So, even nokia has to do lots of catching-up with their competitors if they want to retain a premium position in the hearts of their customers. Yes finally I got someone who is with me. This is what I am trying to explain. But I feel the place Nokia has made in heart of Indians is it is difficult to say something against it. But fact remains the fact. This one will realise when one faces the music. Guys please admit it is difficult to be best but easy to be better & easier to be good & we can't make Nokia think that it is Best without even being better. Regards

All is well but I feel that one who deserves to be in top should be in top and when he reaches the top he should give respect to that position. See Nokia is accepting this because Nokia has to. India is the biggest upcoming Market for Telecom Industry and Nokia just can't escape by passing buck on Matsuita. My only say is if it can happen with battery why can't it happen to handsets. A particular batch of handset can also be bacuse of bad manufacturing. We can't just rule out this possibility and compromise in smoe way or other. I am not against Nokia but I am against the policy which Nokia is adopting towards Our Country. We are one of the fastest growing Economy and we can't just receive anything and everything. If USA has certain standards why can't we have.

So guys finally you have seen that things are coming up in a bad shape for nokia. This is what I was trying to explain. Manufacturing defect can happen anytime & I am sure that the same has happened with this Model 6275. I urge everyone to accept it and raise voice. Then only Nokia will come in front to accept this too. Sir I think u took this on wrong side. What matters is the ultimate product. U know when I gave a complain to Nokia Head in Gurgaon I got a reply that Sir u r very correct that the phone should not take more 1 & half hrs. for charging & may be this particular set is having problem & they replaced my handset. Sir if u go on a visit to a place will u get enough time like 4 - 5 hrs to charge ur phone & why is the phone getting charged my another charger in less time. Why can't Nokia provide such type of chargers with this phone too? As far as 1000s of people is concerned, i am also having a manufacturing unit & though all is set but at times manufacturing defects do come.My friend when every1 knows about the Quality of Manufacturing in China why should we not question. If u have heard news yesterday USA said no to China for all the products. Why is that happening? I do understand that Nokia by manufacturing its product in China is reducing its cost & I have no problem in that but why we should suffer. As far as 30k - 40k phones are concerned I should bring this to your notice that these phones are later on sold at 8k - 10k which you also very well know. The manufacturing unit which I have is also in China but my Clients prefer taking from me than from China though the price in China is very low in comparison to my product. Until & unless we do not raise the issue how is Nokia going to know that they are manufacturing something which is maligning their image. I just know 1 thing if we keep on accepting what they offer we stand to be looser. Atleast we should make them know what product they are offering to us. I have till now never used any other phone apart from Nokia and I have always praised it reccomended it to everyone.But now I have fear to do that.

Buddy don't be so pessimist. U know I got my Handset changed quiet easily which others just try & forget. We are consumers and things are not same now. Nokia is earning because we are earning & spending. I searched for nokia head Office Fax No. & straight away faxed them a 2 Page Letter. Immediately I got response from them 7 they agreed to change my handset. It is just a matter of attitude. I called up Nokia Finalnd yesterday but I was a bit late & office staff were not available. I will take their fax No. & send them a Fax with this link mentioned in it. They will then understand things. If every1 is quiet hoping that what has happened has happened then Nokia will certainly not do anything. But when it comes to know that these are facts then certainly it will take steps. So friend just take things positively & you will see doors opening towards you.

I completely agree with u Chirag... Even i am from Mumbai and the best eg we can set is of 26th July... All the n/w were jammed for 3 days but Rim was upto the mark... Brother I too have faith in Reliance. It was reliance manager only who helped me by giving a standby Handset. What I am talking about is why should we compromise on handset when we are paying for it? We take a handset looking at its features and specs & if it doesn't deliver what it should then it means we are being made fools. Think over this.

I fully endorse this view! And I too have suffered because of Nokia - I got a GSM Nokia which was faulty outta the box! Long story... but in short they are adamant about not giving replacements at any cost ...they just want to keep repairing it. Tried writing to Nokia India also. They do call back, and reply promptly to emails, but its all just nice words and no substance. The product s**ks!! I told them I'd never touch another Nokia product in my life ...and will try and influence any customer who plans to buy one. But they don't give a fig! For sure Nokia's philosophy is that India is a junkyard for their scrap! Guys if so many of us are sufferers then why can't we launch a campaign against Nokia. We are all individual who haven't got what we paid for then why can't we move ahead. I thought may be I am the unlucky 1 to suffer from this but there are so many of them. Why can't we join hands make them know that India is a land of Human Brain Resource and not that anybody can sell anything here. If u guys think I am write then we can give a try to make Nokia know that India is not the Country for you to sell China made handsets which are simply below par. I am just a simple guy who got to know about this side from one of the friends in Orkut & thought this to be a platform to share my views. I hope there must be other platforms where we can put this issue up for our other Indian friends to know about it. can we all make a impact ?

I think u took it on hyper side. U would have known by urself if u had faced the music. I just have 1 question 2 u. Why will a phone take 4 - 5 Hrs. to get charged ? Is this we expect from Nokia that too in a Phone which costs Rs.12000. Nokia is taking things for granted and making India a dumping yard. Should we accept everything it offers. My dear friend money is very hard earned. So whoever spends it wants that he is satisfied by spending it. Why will we compromise by taking another charger or by charging our phones at night when we are paying for it ? Let us then not buy these expensive sets & stick to cheaper set. Atleast we will not repent.

Hi. I took this handset 2 months back in 12k. Since then I have been experiencing problems. When I started using I found lot of Call Drops, then Reception was not good, Phone used to take 4 - 5 Hrs. to get completely charged and then 2 Hrs. of Talktime or 1 day was battery life. Then I sent the set to Nokia Customer Care.They were not ready to give a stanby set till the repair goes on.I tried convincing everyone & then Reliance Manager here came for my help & gave me a standby set. They kept it for 15 Days & returned it back to me. The repaired set had same problems. Then I complained to Nokia Gurgaon & they agreed to change my Set after a long long discussion. The new Set which they were giving me did not even started at the Nokia Care itself. Then I spoke to Nokia head again 7 he said Sorry Sir we will get New set as soon as possible & deliver to you at your home. After a week new handset was delivered to my House. I was happy that finally I will be peaceful. But the same problem persists. My handphone takes 4 - 5 hrs. for charging & then it drains off giving me around 2 Hours of talktime in a Day. Once this phone Log was not getting opened & I had to restart it. Then once this phone got automatically switched off while talking though I it was completely charged. This is my New Phones Connection & now I am tired to go through the prevoius process. I would request you to just think before purchasing this Handset. All The Best.
